I was watching the 1980 USC-Arizona State game and could not help but notice the Trojan player lounging on the sideline at the top of the photo. It’s a great illustration of how less crowded the sidelines were in those days. And don’t be too hard on the player. Remember, last season, USC players were taking selfies on the sideline at the Colorado game in the fourth quarter.
