USC linebacker Porter Gustin tore his meniscus and will undergo surgery this week.
He is expected to be out 4-6 weeks.
UPDATED: Gustin will miss 11 of the past 15 USC games if he does not play the first game against UNLV. It also means he might miss key games against Stanford and Texas.
Porter could avoid being ‘out’ of 11 of the past 15 games by rushing back for the UNLV game —-of course, we’d probably lose him for the rest of the season….

Tough hit for the kid – take it slow and come back whole.

Get better, Porter! The positive side? The pups will get more reps… which I like to see.

Well Damn! I just need them to add a couple of weeks to the recovery period because we need him for the stretch not the stretcher.

Linemen wear knew braces. Too bad Porter didn’t. But that is hind sight and not fair to him. It is a shame that he is injured. Hurry back Porter.
