Colorado Gets It But Does USC?

You probably heard Colorado fired Mike MacIntyre today. I liked MacIntyre so I’m not happy he got fired.

But I’m posting this because it shows you can fire a coach with a game still on the schedule. The Buffaloes play Cal on Saturday.

Colorado will probably also have a search committee and a real search run by an athletic director who has some administration experience.

Can you imagine USC doing this? Can USC do anything in a decisive and organized manner?

What is Lynn Swann doing today? Probably playing golf.

      1. Well, considering the dire state of mental health, he( (actually, she) must have stayed up all night in the clinic for those stats. Asking for any more would drive the individual to escape from there and roam around our neighborhoods this evening. lol.

    1. 1. John Harbaugh (Long shot)
      2. Dave Aranda (Would definitely take the job, but might be a long shot with no HC expience.

I wanted Harbaugh for years and ive wanted Aranda since last year.

      1. Hello Sammy

Where was Aranda’s LSU’s defense @ home vs Alabama?

What are the odds that Coach O would recommend SUCC as a great place to coach FB to his highly rated D coordinator? Would SUCC appreciate the corn pone, no HFBC experience Aranda?

David Shaw would rather starve than cash a SUCC HFBC paycheck.

Harbaugh and Del Rio are Pro FB Coaches, disinclined to coach/babysit FB @ the Div. 1 level.

Kyle Whittingham might be the answer provided he wants to trade easy Utah life for the glamorous opportunity of SUCC FB and the glitz and hype of LA. In my opinion, if Whittingham accepts SUCC employment he would inevitably regret his decision.

      2. Did. you even watch the game or the highlights?

LSU and there offense was pathetically trying to accomplish a 1st down and the defense did a good job.

    2. PS.

With Aranda our defense woulf be so tough and we would actually have all americans on the sidelines as backups. He’s that good in my opinion.

John Robinson, ancient, Cheater 2xs at southern cal
      Jeff Fisher, Loser at Rams
Art Briles, Criminal Enabler at Baylor
Jim Tressel, Disgraced coach at The Ohio State

      1. Just ruined,

I am sure you don’t know this because you have your nose so far up Johnny Cheetin’ Woodens arm pit, but David Shaw’s uncle, Nate Shaw was an assistant to USC. I am sure David would prefer to coach at USC where he knows that they want to win compared to ugly where you can only draw cockroaches to the game, let alone win.

    4. Missing from that list and should be at the top: Brent Venables. Agreed long shot selling that cat on LA living but put the offer up and make him say no!

    5. Eliminate Del Rio. We don’t need a defensive coach we need an creatice offensive mind.

Kyle Whittingham is the best candidate.

  2. He actually did pretty well considering the talent level according to those rating systems…SC? not so much, but they had real football practices, not ones in shorts …

  3. Harbaugh , damn in our dreams but after this past decade coaching nightmare oh please god ( whoever yours may be )
Add Jeff Tedford maybe Jeff Brohm to the list, Though rumor is JDR is promising a PC type early staff … and some discipline finally

    1. You’d have to think JDR is clearly the most feasible replacement for Helton considering the whole picture at this point despite some resistance against selecting the new head coach from the SC umbrella. I think JDR is immeasurably more capable compared to the likes of Helton, and he has the potential to be Pete Carroll 2.0 with even more NFL pedigree.

In what fantasy dimension of yours “…is JDR clearly the most feasible replacement for Helton…”?

Remind me and those Sunshine Pumper Rah-Rah’s what your delusional phrase “…considering the whole picture at this point…” means in enquish and please don’t forget to delineate on fresh toilet paper the “…whole picture…”

Where might somebody purchase “…the SC umbrella.”?

    2. I do like Tedford. H is from Downey and went to Warren. He is offensive minded. The d coredinator for Cal, Deshuyntro (sp) called a good game against SC. That would be intriguing. He too is from Saint John Bosco.

  4. Sammy old man:

Alabama 29 – LSU 0…..the reason LSU had offensive problems are attributable to Alabama’s defense.

Lastly, Sammy, is it your contention yielding 29 points was a good job by the LSU defense?

Pardon me, I wasn’t aware Nate Shaw is Stanford HFBC David Shaw’s uncle. Nor was I aware UCLA may have contacted DS regarding his availability to replace the beleaguered Chip Kelly.

I do know that DS coaches highly intelligent, mature D-1 football players. That information alone disqualifies bozo u from any chance of ever employing DS to organize SUCC’s ugly excuse for a FB program.

Johnny Cheetin’ Woodens (sic) armpit: 10 NCAA BB NC’s.

PT, the petty, petite SUCCster: Poor third-grade communication skills.
