The above photo is from the movie, “Brian Banks” which will be released August 9. Banks is the former Long Beach Poly linebacker who spent nearly six years falsely imprisoned for rape. Banks said he was recruited by Pete Carroll to play at USC and the movie will obviously include some USC references.
- Former USC catcher Garrett Stubbs recently made his major-league debut with the Houston Astros. Today, Stubbs was part of a USC-UCLA battery because the Astros’ starting pitcher was Gerrit Cole, who played at UCLA.
- A couple more names getting mentioned for the USC baseball job: Andy Stankiewicz (Grand Canyon) and Rich Hill (San Diego).
Who wouldn’t want to play for a “Coach Stanky”?

Why not? They both beat our team. The GCU guy might jump at the chance.
