No one knows how this is gonna play out —but we all do know ONE thing: No incoming Athletic Director is going to fire a coach who has just won the conference title. It wouldn’t be suicidal ….but it would put enormous pressure on the 2020 coach and, by implication, on the new A. D.

Michael, sadly, the only way that this team wins out is if Slovis turns into Darnold, including the leadership intangibles that Sam has.
I hope this happens, and believe it very well could, but Slovis will need some more time. He won’t be able to put up 30 plus points every game, because that is what will be required to win out, given Pendergast is at the helm of the D. Colorado scored 31, BYU scored 30. SMH.

Called it! The PAC 12 refs are on the fix for Oregon.. First the bogus targeting call. (And that penalty has got to go because it’s based on “intent to injure” so unless the ref is a mind reader how is the call made? ) Next the holding call??! WTF? Did I say the Refs are on the take ?
Before I post I need to remind you that I have pointed out that Clancy’s college football experience was coaching his fraternity football team. This I have said before, what people are not grasping is that team was flag football not unlike the tackling we saw on Oregon’s first score.

So another 30 yard penalty aid by the Refs including an unsportsmanlike penalty during a timeout. Oregon scores when the tackling looks like flag football again out away the Darnold comparison because Slovis just became the leading scorer in both teams And we give Oregon the ball back at the beginning of the second half.
