USC Over/Under Win Total Is Interesting

The over/under for USC is 5.5 based on the seven-game season that all Pac-12 teams will play.

I really think USC can go 7-0 based on its easy schedule. I also think Clay Helton can screw up a game or two. So 5.5 can be a bit of a dilemma. It means USC cannot mess up in the Pac-12 and then must beat Oregon in the Pac-12 title game.

With a real coach, it’s a no-brainer. With Helton . . .

Here are all the over/under projections per BetOnline.ag.

  1. Given the first 6 opponents, that should be 6-0. I think even Sark or Kiff could deliver that. But never underestimate Helton’s ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

    1. Yep. Especially when you take into account the only team on our regular schedule with a decent over/under (and a good chance of beating the over) is….. the team we meet on Saturday: Arizona State…….

  2. Over? Maybe? I’ve heard the assistants don’t let my guy do anything, that should help. But he’s sneaky, he might rear his head and drag down a game or two.

  3. Yes Scott, Helton can surely screw up easily based on his poor history and lack of abilities. Maybe if he just stays out of the way and allows the new culture that Orlando and Company have brought to the team, we might just be able to pull off a 7-0 season. We certainly have the personnel to do it. Now let them practice and prepare to win. They will win if they do that.

  4. Hey 22, Sleepy Joe Biden defeats Adolph J. Yam. Let’s hope Sleepy Joe appoints Hillary as his Attorney General and the Yam is invited for an extended vacation at the Hotel Gitmo.

    1. Owns, my bud —Do you recall that scene from the beginning of Robert Altman’s “The Player” where Buck Henry is pitching a comedy about a braindead guy who’s elected President….?

      P.S.
I’m not sure — but I think Hillary would probably have to conflict out of a Trump Prosecution (for appearances sake)..

      1. So braindead Joe Biden mugs Adolph J. Yam. It’s over MG, even Hawaii went for braindead Joe Biden – Ouch! The Yam will be dodging subpoenas for the rest of his life. I’m thinking the Yam will wind up in the cell next to Bill Cosby.
