Pac-12 Says No To Expansion

The Pac-12 announced today it will not seek to expand the conference.

The time to expand was during the Larry Scott era when Texas and Oklahoma were interested in joining the Pac-12.

  • I suppose this is news to some but Clay Helton has named Jaxson Dart as the No. 2 QB over Miller Moss.

As I’ve said before, USC coaches view Dart as QB 1-A, not QB2. And they would like to get him some experience this season.

  1. First time I believe the Pac12 administrators understands they are not competitive. The Pac12 conference is a mediocre group of football teams that has to play among themselves to win. Elsewhere where other conferences are playing real football, the Pac12 teams would never win a game. Check how they fair outside their conference unless it’s a powder puff team. Oregon is the only real hope for Pac12 because of Cristobal. Their game against Ohio State will prove how good they really are when playing a titan rather than the weaklings in the Pac12 conference. SC will struggle and fizzle out under their fools at head coach, AD and president.

  2. Dart is a legitimate arm that is gonna be fun to watch at USC.

    I should add Clay Helton is the only reason he would not be a good QB for the Trojans.

These are irresponsible parents. The biggest problem that this country has is not the economy(although that is a problem) or the military but the schools who teach young americans to hate america and who actively attempt to cause division by turning women against men, blacks against whites, gays and trans against straights, young people against older people and on and on it goes. The ‘Destroy America’ crowd long ago decided that the only way they could ever destroy america was to take over the schools and brainwash the next generation.

  12. What happens if Slovis struggles and Dart is inserted into the game and plays better?

    Isn’t this a QB controversy brewing? How do you put Slovis back in after/struggles/injury/concussion?

    This might be the coaches saying they want Dart to gain experience but if things start to go a little sideways I don’t think Helton has the HC skills to manage it. Helton will have no credibility here. Helton is going to come out of this looking even worse, which is incredible knowing how unpopular he already is.

Marilyn Monroe was a babe who slept with the Kennedys. But Helton didn’t name her number 1-A so she died. And the PAC 12 doesn’t want to go any further away from the Pacific Rim than they need to. I think that was it but with all the stupid crap about Trump and Biden I may have missed a point or two.

  15. Michael: My goodness…………I heard the State of Hawaii is recommending no tourist travel until into Hawaii until mid-September or October. Is this true???????????????????? If the Hawaii team can beat UCLA with a miracle win perhaps the state politicians will change directions, and allow the team back home along with the tourists with no quarantine requirements.

    I sure hope this pandemic slows down again in September so I can come to Maui in October which is the most beautiful time of the year there. The Wahine’s tan golden brown in the fall sun, and the Halloween parade in Lahaina is the best after a few Mai Tai’s.

    1. That’s only the half of it Boogs, private property is being stripped away without compensation under the guise of renter eviction moratoriums. Land owners renting to low life’s who received government gifts of money but didn’t pay rent are being told tough nuts. It is the largest theft of property without eminent domain since European expansion in the US. And the landlords are being sucked dry by people calling them greedy profiteers. Meanwhile without rent to pay mortgages the land owners default on the rental property which they worked hard to earn and the property is given to the squatters.

Don’t forget the $3B that he gave a Chinese company for them to build a plant that makes face masks (making them the largest company in the world) rather than using it to build a plant in California to help unemployment and lower the costs of masks… we could actually have bought them cheaper in retail stores than we got them from China, and they came months later than agreed upon.
