Clay Helton Is Finally Fired!

He got two games even though it wasn’t a make-or-break season?

Donte Williams is No. 2 even after his secondary got shredded on Saturday night?

Bohn and his lackey, Brandon Sosna, were huddling all morning. That’s one reason I had not posted much today.

They obviosly want Luck Fickell but I doubt he leaves Cinciinati at this point of the season. Some other names were watching: James Franklin, Bob Stoops, Matt Campbell, Chris Petersen and Bob Stoops.

Here is Mike Bohn’s statement:

I’m sure that statement has been sitting on Bohn’s desk for nearly two years. I will have more today.

      2. Sam — I think Scott can be tempted to make an appearance (under a different name) if a beautiful women pays him a ton of over the top compliments. It doesn’t really HAVE to be a REAL woman —it can be anybody —but the person has to claim they’re a beautiful woman and they have have always gotten turned on by Scott’s writing (especially the hyper-critical unsourced stuff).
I am nominating Owns for this job. I believe he has the right skill set.

      3. Typical loudmouth, rah-rah, SUCCster’s; they love to eat, drink and make asses of yourselves on other people’s dime. Some things never change.

    1. So did Wolf quit and convert to Notre Dame or did he fall in love with 5 Guys so much he’s contemplating working there just for the discount?
I mean doesn’t he remember he jacked USC for a journalism degree and still needs to use it?

      1. Give us Dart! [Nor cuz he’s immeasurably better —but cuz he’s apparently the jumpstart the team needs at this moment]…

      2. Q to Picard (In Final Episode, “All Good Things Must Pass”): “Don’t you get it? The test will go on. It’s never over.”

      3. Would be liking comments but in addition to the larger issues the site has, at least as to me, decided that any input requires a new log-in each time and will not permits “likes”…too many great Q lines to Picard throughout to pick from, but that is certainly among them…one of my favorites would be “The Enterprise is already home to … why not a homeless Entity?” Think the Woofer got someone to bit a line something like that?

      4. There’s a bunch of great lines (and a bunch of fascinating characters ) in Next Generation [For modern myth building, though, I personally go with Lord of the Rings]…..

It’s hard for me to accept Picard as Robin Hood [he’s the first Robin Hood I’m pretty sure I could take in a fist fight]…..

      6. With Stewart, just like with Derek Jacobi, it’s all about the voice and the body language, as opposed to being physically imposing…not his best episode or movie (like with Q lines, there are a bunch to choose from there), but fun…I like LOTR as well and there’s a lot there relevant to what drew us here…but I’d take Kirk over Aragorn within 6 rounds any day of the week…and less if Aragorn happened to be an android, given the lethality word jujitsu…

      7. I admire your loyalty to the Trek Captains, Picard & Kirk. [I personally would go with Vigo over Shatner in a no holds barred alley fight —but I’m open to counter arguments]…

      8. MG-We are not of one mind! But that’s okay – I think Kirk beats the petulant whiny elf-infected stuffing out of Aragorn (Kirk to Aragorn, reminding him of the outcome of his Khan II victory: “…I’m laughing at the…son of Arathorn…descendant of Isildur…Ranger…Strider…would-be King…any other names, tough guy? Still counting on the little hairy-footed ones, eh? Wizard’s not coming to save you this time…”). Speaking of The Wizard, and given the fun of adding music to the mix (and if wondering, yes lyrics inspired by)…if only we had Sharon as president instead of…

      9. Ha! Very funny, James. That is some choice trash talk from Shatner (I hope he didn’t talk that way to the cops who came to investigate the murder of his wife —it would reflect badly).
The Wizard is maybe the only thing I ever liked by B. S. [I had a very hard time liking Ozzie after Suicide Solution — which featured the most irresponsible lyrics ever. He’s lucky the court found he had no “duty” toward the kid who killed himself cuz the plaintiffs definitely had him on “causation”]….

  1. Off Topic: Where is the outcry of the blatant targeting of SC QB’s by opponents in the last few games? The obvious strategy of opponents is to keep knocking SC QB’s out of games while the refs look the other way. This goes back to when JT Daniels was injured, then Slovis was injured, now Slovis again and even Dart. What has PAC-12 football become? A gam of whack a mole? The new commissioner better do something about this.

    1. Very much on topic, Wayne. And add the non calls when it comes to the holds on our Defensive End, Defensive Tackle and Nose Tackle.
But, you’re right, the half second late hits on our QB have to be addressed. They are pretty obviously being coached –they aren’t accidents.

  2. Where is this superstar Defensive End-Corey Foreman, and the prized defensive tackle super stud Sophster from Alabama.???????

Where is Bru McCoy——–did USC make him guilty from day one once this case hit the press, and sent him off to Alcatraz. The facts are in the prosecutors said there is no case. If I’m Bru’s parents I say audios USC this is BS not making a decision on our son. USC clearly has the right to make their own decision on this case, but they do not have the right to ruin the kid’s life by leaving him in limbo by not making a decision.. The longer this case goes on the more it looks like USC has made their decision, and it appears they want it to go away silently without an official announcement. If your decision is not favorable to Bru so be it so the kid can immediately enter the transfer portal, and move on with his life. I smell a lawsuit coming on this case, and it just might cost USC alot of money.

    1. Crap. That’s bad news, 67. Dart is the better QB. He THINKS faster AND THROWS faster.
Kedon is fine…. but he breaks easily…and he can’t let the ball go.

      1. Overheard conversation between Mike Bohn and Luke Fickell:
Fickell: If you save Dart for me I’ll come next year.
Bohn: Unnecessary knee surgery should give him an extra year.
        Fickell: Deal.

  3. It’s better that Dart won’t be tainted under Harrell’s system.

Let Dart start fresh under a new offensive coordinator next season.
