I spoke to someone who watched players’ workouts and said it was obvious QB Caleb Williams and WR Mario Williams have played together and formed a bond.
“You could tell right away,” the source said. “Last year, I could tell Keaontay Ingram was a player. I think (Mario Williams) could be like that too.”
- This is going to be a big recruiting weekend for USC: Five-star defensive lineman Jayden Wayne; four-star tailback Rueben Owens (ranked No. 1 nationally by Rivals); four-star linebacker Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa and four-star offensive tackle Olaus Alinen are among those scheduled to visit.
- UCLA actually has more pressure on it Saturday than USC when the teams meet Saturday at Pauley Pavilion.
“It’s really do or die for us and we’re going to give it everything we’ve got to try to get that win,” Jaime Jaquez said about beating the Trojans.
Will UCLA really die if they don’t win on Saturday..?

I hope Lincoln Riley’s offense has room for a running back to have at least 20 carries a game, or it would be pointless for them to recruit a 5 star back. I can’t remember the running backs name that picked UC Davis over USC during the Clay Helton era, but it really happened 😂😂😂

Owns would want to die if 5 wins in a row turns into six on Saturday….

Michael,
It couldn’t happen to a nicer team if they did.

I actually think that they will win. It’s the same reason I picked the Rams over the 49er’s. The 49er’s won the last 6 in a row. Because these were evenly talented teams, the odds say that the Rams will win this time. I say the same thing with UCLA-USC basketball. I’m picking UCLA. It’s just betters odds.

Actually, sucla is in the tournament anyway, but maybe the guy meant that to lose to SC 6 times in a row means his class will never have beaten SC.

No. Jaime meant that he wants to die if they don’t win…

Since Punxsutawney Phil passed on, the stump at Gobbler’s Knob is vacant.Owns is probably holed up there.Maybe he’ll pop out next year and signify another year of Trojan victories.Keep stripping the paint off that Victory Bell, Owns – About time to give it up. #DING-DING……

Scooter,
Tonight Sc plays UofA. If SC wins, that would bring them up in rankings and seedings. It will also give an indication on who SC can play if they are playing to their potential.

SC will not beat Arizona. Count on it.

To get serious for a moment, if this sucla guy really believes a game is “do or die” then we should send him to the Ukraine so he will know what REAL do or die is.

Great idea… except for one thing…UCLA doesn’t believe in THAT kind of do or die….

Exactly! Afterall, you are talking about a bunch of pansies who I’m sure voted for the useless old man in the White House who’s made the world a very dangerous place, only because DT hurt their feelings with his mean Tweets. They could never handle battlefield conditions.

I couldn’t handle them either….[but I still think UCLA is a bunch of pussies]…

And BTW didn’t make myself look foolish at all. We are in this position not because people voted for Biden, but against Trump. When I ask Biden voters what Trump policies they disagree with, more often than not they can’t name ONE!
So saying what pussies people are for voting against Trump because he hurt their feelings is a FACT, you dumb shit, not foolish! Your ignorance is hilarious!

John,
The problem with that though is that he would fight for Putin. Knowing that he went to a commie atheist school and Russia has been that way for a long time, he would just assume to do the same thing.

Big game tonight at the Galen Center. USC vs. No. 2 Arizona.
Any predictions??
USC will have to play by far their best game of the season tonight not only shooting a high percentage from the 3 but contending against the Arizona size inside. Mobley, Goodwin, Morgan, and Peterson must be able to pentrate the paint, and hit the boards stronger than ever.
Tough to call- Arizona 84- USC 79. Hate to do this but Arizona is like an NBA team this year especially inside the paint due to their size.

tommyd,
Reminder, Mobley did not play last game agasint UofA. However, I think it is Peterson who makes the difference in this game. If he is cool as a cucumber like he has been, then the Trojans have a chance. Refs need to call a fair game. SC has to play great defense and they ahve to mix up the defense from man to man to zone, to diamond like Floyd did. Mobley cannot get into trouble by being emotional. Goodwin has to grab rebounds and sweep the boards and score from three feet out. Also, SC was in the game until the end of the last game. If SC can play in sync with each other and as a unit, then they can win.

SC can win tonight I agree- We must match up with Arizona’s physical play inside, and really make it difficult in the paint. Boogie needs to be on target from the outside to pen things up as well as Reece Dixon Water who I think is going to be a great player next year with a little more experience.
Might be the biggest game at Galen Center in a long time. Perhaps, Traveler could make a brief appearance live in the arena to fire the crowd up.

Mobley did play last game.. broke his nose and got a concussion. Had to finish the game with a tampon in a nostril.
Trojans will likely play the ruins twice more this season, once being in the Pac12 tournament.

Hopefully, we never get attacked here in america. This generation of young americans is light years away from the generation of young americans who lined up in lines around the block to join the military after Pearl Harbor was attacked. If this generation had been around then, we would have lost the war in 6 months. If we were invaded today, many americans would ask our invaders….”If we surrender, will we still be able to see ‘Dancing with the stars’ and ‘Singers with masks’?” If they said “yes”, our brave americans would say….”welcome to america”…..”long live totalitarianism”.
