Some Good News For USC Fans On Pac-12 Tournament

Here is the full bracket for the Pac-12 Tournament. USC plays the winner of Utah-Washington on Thursday at 8:30 p.m. (PT).

Now the good news: USC’s game on Thursday will be on FS1.

It is the only Pac-12 Tournament game the first two days that is not on the Pac-12 Network. So losing to UCLA actually had a benefit. Thanks, Enfield!

    1. Better than a guy I knew … I listened as some friend of his explained to him his UCLA girlfriend’s pussy smelled. Was it worse than a skunk!? Maybe just a malodorous queef. It’s all relative.

    2. On the ESPN game summary the author commented on the
“raucous, profanity shouting student section” at Pauley.
Taxpayer supported, Public education at its finest.

      1. I wasn’t that far from the student section, and it was about the worst sportsmanship I have seen. Meanwhile, if anyone so much as blew on Jaquez, it as a foul. Refs were showboats, which you never want, irrespective of who you are rooting for.

      2. I think ASU retired the bad sportsmanship trophy with the PLO chant to Steve Kerr.

  2. If you look at the Pac-12 tournament brackets, it looks like UCLA and USC will play again in the Pac-12 tournament. Next time I think that I will take SC. It’s just betters odds. It’s hard for 2 evenly talented teams to win 2 in a row against each other.

      1. I don’t think that it is a bad bet at all. I may be wrong but I still think the odds are against the Bruins winning twice in a row.

Having been privy to much of the hypocrisy that goes on behind the scenes, I’ve fallen away from the Church, but my faith has never wavered. I know without any doubt there is something waiting for us when we leave this (mostly) wonderful world of ours.

Let’s pray all of the ugliness going on right now doesn’t lead to many more of us getting there any time soon. Sadly, too many have recently been taken far too young already. May they rest in peace.

      2. That’s also why I refuse to remain silent about the poor, emotional decisions made by 81M that have led to so much death & suffering and could lead to the end of the world as we know it.

The sooner we forget what a horrible, horrible choice it was, the sooner it will be repeated.

Maybe he was including the tens of thousands of “votes” by senile seniors harvested in assisted living centers in swing districts….

      4. MG, the ballots was only half of it. The media sold the American public a false set of goods. They gave him MILLIONS in the way of free (and false) advertising, covering for his poor physical and mental condition. Most candidates put in 80-100 hours a week during their campaigns. I doubt JB put in more than 30. He didn’t have the stamina for it and the media didn’t say one word about it.

When DT tested positive and they had to cancel one of the debates, DT offered to debate him on Sat, Oct 29 which was an open date. JB refused. He was scared of Trump and anyone with any sense knew it. Had that been Trump shying away from a debate, they’d have torn him apart.

The simple fact is Biden showed throughout his campaign what a weak, fragile old man he was and he was given a pass by the media. All of our adversaries saw it and started salivating at the thought of him leading the free world, because they knew the dreams they had of re-establishing their previous glory days as a Super Power would be just around the corner. The really brain dead among us want to claim that we don’t know if Putin would have done the same thing under Trump. But those of us with more than one function brain cell know it would not be happening.

Anything that made Biden look bad was immediately deemed misinformation, no matter how much proof there was to the contrary. THAT is where the election manipuation/fraud happened. And now, some of those same media outlets that helped him get elected are starting to open their eyes and ask the tough questions, on the very rare occasions he even takes questions. His handlers rarely allow it and it’s very scary that he’s admitted it, by saying “he’s not supposed to take questions” or that “he’s going to get into trouble” if he does!! WHO IS GOING TO ADMONISH HIM?! In other words, who is really running the country?!! We all know it’s not him and he is a mere puppet.

      5. You saw the debates they had and wanted more? Nobody won and America lost. They were a national enbarrasment for both parties.

      6. You couldn’t be more right, So Cal. As I’ve said, the media lost most of it’s credibility with their dossier and covid mandate coverage — they’ll lose the rest with their coverage of Biden’s handling of Ukraine.
[And as I’ve said also –Trump’s personality rubs me the the wrong way too —but I’m glad he didn’t take shit from Chris Wallace or Biden—better to kick both their ignorant asses than get double-teamed for 2 hours ]…..

      7. Yes, it’s pretty funny the way many reporters, such as Kaitlan Collins & Lester Holt are now acting surprised at what they are seeing from this administration. For those of us who have been paying attention since 2019, it doesn’t surprise us one bit what failures they have been at virtually everything they have touched.

        Lord help us!!

  3. I took my youngest son for his birthday (15), along with some of his buddies to the game. Glad the kids had fun despite the outcome. Mobley really needs to improve his footwork and foot speed, and I know this about the 5th time I have said it, but the USC half-court sets don’t work well. Overdribbling constantly. And I don’t see why they didn’t try to to exploit their size advantage. From what I saw last night, either team would be lucky to get out of the second round of the NCAA tourney.

    1. Regrettably, you will have to have a conversation with the young fellows about the profanity laden student section at UCLA. I suspect that you already have had that conversation.

  4. UW is slowly improving and could ambush the Trojans in Vegas.

Still, this team beats the teams it should beat (x-Stanford, smdh) and
plays well with teams it can beat (UCLA, Oregon). Zona, at 84 ppg , is
gonna be tough for a lot of teams.

A nice run in the Pac12 tourney, maybe a sweet 16 game.
That’s my hope for this squad. I got my wish and we kept Mobley
for another year. We got a lot of wins in 2021/2. Four more wins would be fantastic!

….and yes, the Blanton’s bottle was safe last night.
Might have a sip when Riley’s guys pummel Stanford in Sept.

    1. …shoulda’ done my homework before posting:
ESPN bracketology slates USC MBB in at a 7 seed with a tough game vs #10 SDSU and a game vs #2 seed KU if we beat SDSU.

A win vs UW and a win vs UCLA in the Pac tourney is a must, now.

    2. I hear Blanton’s is tremendously over rated, but still want to find out for myself, if I can ever find a bottle.

Although now would not be the time. Lent is upon us.

      1. At $80/bottle it is sublime, So Cal.
I have a few bottles in reserve, but have not been able to find a bottle in a few years. Can’t find it in the bigger cities. Found mine in Monterey, CA! I could have bought one for about $160 the other day….Hell no!

Indeed, Lent is upon us and my sacrifice is Pizza, Pasta, garlic Bread, Tiramisu, panna cotta, zabaglione–all the good, irresistible stuff. If the Trojan BB team wins some big games before Easter, then a lil bit of fine Bourbon it is! My favorite, delectable foods? Not til after Easter.

  5. Is it just me or does anyone else think there is something fishy going on in this Ukraine “war”. Zelensky is a Soros puppet. Zelensky worked with MI6 to attempt an over throw in Kazahstan to destabilize Russia. Is Russia really pissed or is this a globalists distracting us from what is really going on in the world. Why isn’t Russia going all out?

    1. Globalism(The “New World Order” that George H.W. Bush used to always talk about) is not just a right wing conspiracy. It’s real. I do not know if Zelenski is a Soros puppet but Soros is one of(if not the main) leaders of this Globalist movement. That’s why they hate Trump. You had 28 years of globalists presidents(Bush, Clinton, Bush Jr., Obama) and everything was just moving along unrestrained for the globalists. Then all of a sudden this nationalist(“make america great again) superstar pops unto the scene and they determined that he must be stopped by any means(war, virus, environmental issues….whatever). I’m curoius about what will happen in 2022 because George Soros recently said that 2022 will be “the most important year in the history of the world”. That is a direct quote from Soros and he is the ultimate insider in this globalist cabal.

      1. Soros should scare you. He’s smarter, tougher and wields more influence than any elected [or, for that matter, unelected] world leader. He’s been working at using American taxpayer funded positions [executive, legislative and judicial] to dismantle our system of government for the last 35 years — and he’s on the verge of pulling it off.
Say your prayers, kiddies. He wants to finish the job BEFORE November ’22.

      2. I agree with you. Counting the number of Soros elected prosecutors could cause a person to go mad. Prosecutors control the City’s agenda.

  6. And Soros has said that America is the chief hindrance to the New World Order. That is also a direct quote from GS. The NWO is something that Soros has been pushing since he was a teenager. If america is the chief hindrance to the NWO, Soros will do whatever it takes to bring it about and him and the other filthy rich international bankers and finance people who are trying to bring about this one world oligarchy are not the kind of people who take “no” for an answer. They will do whatever it takes to bring it about. You might say “even killing people by various means?” The UN and the World Economic Forum have it on their website(they are not hiding it) that their goal is to get the world population from 7.5 billion down to 500 million. That means getting rid of 14 out of every 15 people on planet earth. That seems impossible, yet they say that this is their goal. I say this because so many people think that this globalistic NEW World Order is a myth propagated by some conservatives. It’s real.
