    1. Why would any 4&5 star offensive linemen commit to Lincoln Riley, especially since he runs a finesse offense that resembles the crap Mike Leach puts on the field ? Riley has proven to be a weak recruiter so far, but the Trojan ass lick fanboys think otherwise, because he pulled a few players from the transfer portal. 😂

      3. I feel your sentiments that national letter of intent day was pretty exciting this year. How many high schoolers did USC sign on 2nd signing day in February, 0? Nobody even said anything about that dismissal day in recruiting. Something that’s never happened in the entire history of the program, because it’s Lincoln Riley and he has the transfer portal to back him up. USC recruits itself not anymore when you don’t win anymore. That simple!

By letting Larry Scott grift the conference for years through the PAC 12 network, and by not taking care of it’s biggest brand in USC. It’s biggest market LA. With no NFL pro team for years in the 2nd biggest media market. Everyone one of them dropped the ball on this. Losers all of them and they won’t even save the conference now. They will all be going to the big-12 or wac. With it’s defunct network now making 0 dollars. Way to listen and get hood winked by Larry Scott.

    2. Lol Larry Scott’s not a loser of the week! Actually he’s the winner of the week. He’s laughing all the way to the bank at everyone no matter what becomes of the 10/12. He left 1 year earlier almost to the day and doesn’t have to take all the heat like the commissioner now does. He created this big mess and escapes ful criticism and judgement in all this. When he couldn’t get Texas and OU to join the PAC 12 in 2016 he should’ve been fired then. He was weak and incompetent and the president’s and ADs are just as well to blame in all of this. Everyone of them. From all 12 universities. They were all weak as well and didn’t take care for it’s biggest brand in USC during the Reggie Bush fiasco, distribution of money and schedules. They didn’t take care of their biggest market. LA even without a pro team for years in LA.

  3. Francis Mauigoa made a mistake. Cristobal doesn’t develope players and under Cristobal he will play on a 8-4 team each year. If he wanted to play on a NC team, he’s playing under the wrong coach. Cristobal is a fast talking recruiter…..that’s it. Kyle Whittinghams Utes destroyed his much more talented Ducks twice last year

    2. Cristobal is not a great coach. A lot of people talked about him coming to SC. That would have been another USC mistake. He was 27-47 as HC at FIU. Even with all the talent at Oregon(thanks to uncle Phil), he was only 32-13 at Oregon. That isn’t that much better than CH. He was 4-3 in 2020. In 2021, look how he finished…..He lost 3 out of his last 4 games. He lost to Utah 38-7. Then they struggled in the 2nd half against Oregon State before finally pulling it out 38-29. Then they were behind against Utah 38-3. Then they were behind at the half 30-3 against Oklahoma before the sooners put in all their reserves. A lot of people at Oregon were trying to get rid of him when he took the Miami job. The guy is not a great coach.

    1. It’s unreal how memory spans have gone out the window in America in general nowadays. Last time I checked USC went 4-8 last year, can’t recruit any 4 or 5 star offensive lineman for years, and 0 players signed on the 2nd signing of, national letter of intent day in February. So how is USC dominating this year and years to come? They also have to recruit against the big 10 for years. Opening up a Pandoras box on recruits from the so Cal area. A bunch of blow hards all of them.

Larry Scott was always a complete disaster but the college leaders didn’t care or pay attention so they go in there with Scott. Kliavkoff is really not a loser, even if the Pac folds he will come out of it in a good place.

        Thanks. Doing my best to not get too involved in the corporate medical squirrel cage. I found it harder to get the right physician team than it was to get accepted to college. I found it odd because when I was in the College of Chemistry at Cal for the first two years I was premed. Medical business is not so much about healing, it’s more about money now.

        I had only seen a doc once in 50 years. If I had a really bad case of a cold that dropped into my lungs, I just went to a feed store and bought antibiotics.

    Am i being too negative when I say i don’t care for this deal with the Big 10? Yes the PAC needs to become relevant again and that would be from better tv deals and more exposure on tv and better compeition. However, I am just thinking how some teams like baseball or basketball or even football will have to turn around and go back after just being on the east coast the last weekend for the new weekend. SC is getting a better deal in terms of money, but tradition is thrown out. I guess that doesn’t matter anymore. I think i will be exhausted just from reading about all the travel that is being done. LOLOLO

      As I mentioned a few days ago, I’m going to try and be optimistic. But my gut reaction to this is major disappointment.

      I’ve enjoyed decades of not only rooting for USC on Saturday and whoever was playing SUCLA, but also rooting for every Pac-12 team (who isn’t SUCLA) in their OOC games. We love the Ducks, the Utes, the Sun Devils and the Cats. I can’t see us ever rooting for our new conference mates the way we’ve rooted for them over the years.

        I agree. I cheer for most teams in the PAC 12, except for one and that one is the biggest cheaters and liars of all time, ugly. I hope they rot in purgatory for a century. hate them. To me, it won’t be the same as cheering for indiana, northwestern, michigan, and ohio st. Now who do we hate in the conference besides ugly? Will we all want to hate on michighan, ohio st., or some other team? We can fall back on only hating ugly but you need another team. hating ugly is a conclusive thing when you are a SC fan.

      2. It will take a while for me to get fired up for USC to play Indiana, Illinois, Maryland, or Northwestern. The games against the Mich teams and tosu will be fun. Minnesota not that thrilling. Iowa will be fun and will Wisconsin. Going to miss our old rivals, I hope they all do well somewhere.

    2. The people who made this decision for USC never played football, basketball or baseball at USC.

      If SC wanted a bigger piece under Larry Scott it was like pissing into the wind. If they had made a cogent presentation now they would have been treated better. I do not think it will help SC recruiting and It sure as hell will never help uclol.

  12. PT – you are not alone. I hate the deal. Unfortunately, it may be a necessary evil. You cannot leave 70 million dollars a year in potential TV revenue on the table and expect to remain competitive. If USC passes on the deal, other teams will have substantially more resources to buy coaches, players, facilities, ect.

  13. Loser of the century:The PAC 12 network. From its inception it has been a millstone around the neck of the conference. Without much content and absolutely no reputation, popped on the scene demanding top dollar for their product. Regional coverage often overlapped and watching a who cares five minutes of the fourth quarter which often clouded the beginning of the game you paid to see became the normal fare.
    Larry Scott refused to negotiate with the real power (cable providers) as if he had something worth selling making people with the big providers outa luck for PAC 12 programming.
    If they have learned anything the past few days, the PAC 12 should have learned to not treat their money makers like cash cows. They milked the TV market dry, while watching their programs take the Friday night at seven o’clock games in stride.

    1. Really difficult to understand your interest in sports Gabby. Sports have always been the great equalizer. It doesn’t matter who you are, where you come from, or the color of your skin, if you can beat your opponent on a level playing field you are the winner. I think in part that is why black people love sports. They had Jack Johnson, Jesse Owens, Jackie Robinson, Bill Russell and countless others to show that they could compete and win. Unfortunately, you and your party no longer embrace the concept of competing on a level playing field. You believe in “equity” or equality of outcomes. No place for equality of outcomes in sports. We keep track of the score, even have scoreboards.

I believe what the constitution says…..”We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness”. It does not guarantee Happiness. It guarantees “the pursuit of happiness”. This means that everyone has a chance to rise from the ashes. It’s talking about a “reasonable” amount of equal opportunity. I say “reasonable” because some people were born with a silver spoon in their mouth and others really do have to rise from the ashes. I don’t see how you can change that.
        But there really is a difference between “Equity” and “Equality”. “Equality” just means that all people have an equal opportunity to rise from whatever starting point they were born into. “Equity” means that they should all arrive at the same destination and should have the same amount of goods and riches. Should a guy who was on welfare all of his life end up with the same amount of goods and riches as the guy who worked 7 days a week and 12 hours a day all of his life? My answer would be no.
