      1. I’m a USC fan. I’ll admit the offense is not the problem. The defense absolutely sucks! We would have gotten are asses kicked if we would have played Georgia. Not a doubt in my mine. Our defense trying to stop their offense. Give me a break!!

  2. Maybe Bryant was waiting to see if SC was going to bring in any more WR’s in the transfer portal. Maybe the reason that he finally decided to jump in the portal is because he knows something that the rest of us don’t know….namely that Marvin Harrison really is coming to SC.
    Also, some pundants are now predicting that Jarrett Kingston the O-Lineman from Washington State is coming to SC. This guy is big time. He will definitely play at the next level.

      1. “He” meaning Harrison or Kingston? I’d like to have them both but I’m not sure who I would rather have if I could only have one. Of course, how can you pass up on Harrison? I don’t know but we need O-Linemen more than receivers and Kingston is a stud. If he comes to SC, he will start every game next year unless injured.

      3. I think that we are as good as anyone offensively. Defensively…..we are not in the same universe with Michigan, Ohio State, Alabama, Georgia and a ton of other teams.

  10. Riley watching this game and saying, wow, we don’t need defense. He is not realizing that the route is because of stout defense. Gives more opportunities to the offense.

    1. Let’s not go overboard on Georgia. Did you notice they scored their least number of points in the 4th quarter? They were coming apart. If the game was 10 or 12 quarters I think TCU could’ve gotten back into the game….

    1. USC has a good chance of getting into the playoffs in 2023….. Caleb will be unstoppable with his rebuilt o-line and experienced receiving corps. Unfortunately—when we get there —it’s gonna be with a certain Albatross tied around our neck…

  15. Bottom line- Defense wins championships. Everyone talks about how great Bush and Leinart were during the Pete Carroll era, but it was the strong defenses that took them to the top with guys like Keith Rivers, Ray Malaluga, Mike Patterson, Sedric Ellis, Thomas Williams, Matt G, Sean Cody, Brian Cushing etc. Strong defensive lines, great linebacker play, great recruiting and player development on defense got them to the top. USC does have super offensive capability at the moment just like TCU had going into this game, and we all saw what happened tongith USC will not win a national championship in football until we can dominate a game on the defensive line and at the linebacker positions again.. None of the guys we have on defense at the moment would even play at Georgia, Alabama, or even Ohio State. The reason Ohio State stayed in the game with Georgia was their defense.

    I am not impressed with our recruiting thus far. We are national championship level on offense and loaded to go for next year all our recruits need to be on defense with a few more offensive lineman if our goals are to be reached. It is exciting to watch teams with great offenses until they are stopped cold in the playoffs if they make it that far.
