What do you think the odds would have been a year ago that a basketball player from Weber State would get picked ahead of Isaiah Collier?
Collier was projected as the No. 1 pick in most mock drafts a year ago. But Dillon Jones of Weber State went 26th while Collier went 29th to the Utah Jazz.
Thanks, Enfield!
Now I think Collier will end up being better than where he got drafted but at the same time, where was the evidence he would get developed at all by Andy Enfield?
Ditto for Bronny James, although obviously he is a much-less prized prospect than Collier.
I bet neither of those guys would have gone to USC if they could do it all over again.
- The NBA G League Ignite team — coached by former USC assistant coach Jason Hart — had two of the first 11 picks in the draft. Somehow the Ignite’s record was 2-32. Hart is now at Kentucky.
- The USC ticket office let some — but not all — supporters who entered the road game ticket lottery know if they will get tickets for the away trips in 2024.
- In this picture I ran yesterday, Eric Musselman is sitting with Tounde Yessoufou, a 6-5 guard from St. Joseph’s High School in Santa Maria. He is ranked the No. 17 player overall in the Class of 2025.

Is there any chance Wolf could separate his posts into 2 columns – Facts and Opinions? When he posts facts, such as “xxx is on an official visit to USC this weekend” or “xxx has entered the transfer portal”, it’s actually worth knowing. His opinions, which about 90% of time are some sort of petty criticism of USC, are always useless.

Scott has turned this blog into a ghost town with his constant subjective criticism to no end and lack of objective information. You have a t00l like MG who thinks that’s the approach to having a successful blog.
When Scott is desperate for clicks he pulls out the sock puppets and gets confrontational… The 50 Biden rants a day backfired. The sad part is you have a magat, MG, whose life revolves around this blog, without it, the guy would be lost.

Collier got hurt last year which affected his draft status, and Brawny almost died

He had a poor start to the season. Lots of turnovers and poor outside shooting. No way this guy starts on an NBA in his present condition.

On another SC blog there were 5 articles in the past 17-days whereas Wolf sometimes has 5 articles in one day which means not all of them are going to be gems

collier’s a below average athlete with a below average jump shot and average wingspan for a point guard. Shocker he went end of 1st round.
