USC Roster Changes

Since it has been a couple weeks since I blogged, let’s update the USC roster. Center Cole Smith is retiring from football because of arthritic knees.  I hear offensive lineman Roy Hemsley is transferring to San Diego State. And I’ve also heard that offensive tackle Nathan Smith is also considering his future after missing last season following knee surgery.

That would mean three less offensive linemen on the roster. That is not good for practice purposes. Safety Jamel Cook’s future is also in doubt after not really playing last season. Linebacker Olajuwon Tucker is also expected to play elsewhere next season.

Finally, no one I’ve spoken to at USC would be surprised if wide receiver Joseph Lewis does not return after he was arrested last week on suspicion of domestic violence.

  1. Welcome back Wolf. Interesting to see if you can regain all that has v
been lost. Try to be a little more suppoertive this go around. Your base is USC faithful, not trolls from the other side of town. Try to get it together and keep it together.
