USC’s season ended less than two months ago, but look at how things have changed at running back: Ronald Jones turned pro. Stephen Carr is out three months nursing a herniated disc in his back. Assistant Deland McCullough went to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Fortunately for USC, there is still plenty of time before the season starts. But it might be nice to have a running backs coach in place before spring practice starts next week. Obviously, the Western Kentucky pipeline is dry at this spot.
