Remember when USC defensive line coach Kenechi Udeze interviewed with the San Francisco 49ers in January? The 49ers recently hired Chris Kiffin for the assistant defensive line spot. Kiffin, the younger brother of Lane Kiffin, was also at USC and spent last season as defensive coordinator at Florida Atlantic.

So the end result is Udeze is staying at USC. His relationship with defensive coordinator Clancy Pendergast has sometimes been rocky so maybe that is why he interviewed with the 49ers.
