Former USC Safety Dennis Thurman To Coach In AAF

  Former USC safety Dennis Thurman, shown above with Clay Matthews in the 1976 USC-UCLA game, has accepted a job as defensive coordinator for the Memphis franchise of the new Alliance of American Football league. Thurman was previously the defensive coordinator of the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills. He spent last season as an analyst on the USC radio pre-game show.
