    1. For a second. Just for a quick moment if was as if we were watching a Matt Grootegoed or dare I say Troy Polamalu out there on the field. Hufanga didn’t allow plays to develop because he read them quickly and filled the right gaps to make plays. He tackled like those guys used to bring down runners. I hope he continues to get better each week. If he does he’s gonna be really good.

  3. After 14 tackle vs Utah, Mr. Hufanga deserves a concussion breather; I think the extra lite, SUCCX LB’s may want to quit blowing their tackle opportunities.

  4. I’m wondering when the Clown U BB program will receive its NCAA notice of allegations/violations. I know Andyaintwinning claims he didn’t know squat, but he should have. Does the SUCCX BB program deserve the Death Penalty?

    Kansas just received its NCAA notice of allegations. The Kansas BB program is facing hefty sanctions and Self could be terminated.

    1. Maybe we’ll get off the way the Wizard did back in the good ol days huh? I wasn’t around then but I’ve heard from many college basketball followers that Wooden had a man named Sam around to help him win. The Bruins old faithful. They would call Sam “The Fixer” these days.

Yeah Sam Gilbert and his squeeze Jonnie….he used to put jonniekins on a leash and walk up and down Hilgard Ave. Once in a while he let ‘jonniekins’ off the leash and when the ‘jonniekins’ came up against something called ‘integrity’ why the little dawggie would bark ‘Nellie where are you!’

  5. In other news: Bush Brings Back the Magic

    That was quite a step Stepp took, sharing congratulations with Reggie Bush. Bush is to the Under-30-year-old-footballers that O.J. was to the over-65 crowd (until about 1994). Mr. Bush was a Trojan hero and helped win 3 straight football national championships except for the last minute of the third one. No team has ever won 3 in a row. His style of running at the college level was at times electrifying, and he was a star to the fans in every town he played in…

    My holding a grudge against the guy’s greediness doesn’t do me any good. And someday, when the long-lost child is allowed to return back to SC, maybe we could also petition to have his Heisman Trophy reinstated and lodged in a Trojan Hall.

    1. Reggie has never shown one ounce of contrition for ruining the lives of the SC student athletes and coaches who had to suffer for his greed and selfishness. When will he apologize to Matt Barkley, Cody Kessler and the other Trojans who had to play under NCAA probation? That ingrate should never be honored by USC.

      1. Very true but you could also throw certain head coach into the hopper, admittedly tangentially, for heading out the door in Jan 2010 before the full ‘star chamber’ sentencing we received from the NCAA just as Robinson did in 1982
