QB Prospect Not Scared Of Other Recruits/Coach Change

Quarterback Miller Moss of Alemany, a 2021 prospect, said he doesn’t care what quarteracks have committed to USC.

“In terms of quarterback situation at USC currently, no other recruit’s decision will impact where I feel I should attend college,” Moss said. “I have a tremendous amount of confidence in what I can do as a player, and picking a school for me will be based on what my family and I decide is best for me, not anyone else.”

He also doesn’t mind if there is a coaching change.

“If there happens to be an untimely coaching change, I would absolutely want to build a relationship with the new staff,” Moss said. “USC has always been a place I love for both it’s academic and athletic prowess.”

USC has a commitment from Narbonne QB Jake Garcia, Class of 2020 prospect, but Moss doesn’t seem to mind.

  1. On Twitter Scott postulated that sometimes (actually often at recent USC) it takes an injury for the best player to get on the field. I wonder if this theory holds true for coaches? I mean I am not advocating for someone to injure Clay Helton but imagine if the next best coach is just waiting for an injury?
Okay so have a nice week Clay and be sure to look both ways when crossing the street.
