Remember When Florida Was Looking For Games?

Arizona State and Florida have agreed to a home-and-home series.

Arizona State will host Florida at Sun Devil Stadium on Sept. 16, 2028. Florida will host Arizona State on Sept. 6 or 13, 2031 at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville.

Three weeks ago, Florida atheltic director Scott Stricklin tweeted the Gators were looking for games. Maybe Mike Bohn will call Stricklin since no did last month.

    1. No doubt! Falling off that list of 3 schools to never play FCS schools is bs!!! Pitiful that the only 2 schools who will then be able to say that are FUCLA and ND!

  1. “Maybe Mike Bohn will call Stricklin since no did last month.” Maybe Mike Bohn will proof-read Scott since no one did last month, or yesterday, or today.

  3. For the moment at least, it looks like Bama scheduling a bunch of home games filled with a bunch of cupcake opponents, has finally caught up to the Tide. Of course one of those teams ahead of them will lose and Bama will still make the playoff and will win the natty but not the SEC or even the SEC West. Oh the humanity.

    1. Just Puke,

Maybe the news should do an article on how many Thug U aka ruinville students have been killed, kidnapped, or committed sucide at that dump called ugly. It is a shame on both sides that this happens.

  4. Sammy, no clue about those fellow Bruin trolls. If UCLA mugs Utah they may return to mouth off about the 11/23 rivalry game.

Ms. Thuc Nhi Nguyen is now employed by the LA Fishwrap as a “Sports Reporter.” Personally, I don’t miss her tweet reporting, but some do.

  5. if UCLA beats Utah…I know, I know, they’re underdogs, but if they do, the South takes on a completely different look even if we beat CAL.
The rivalry game could possibly determine who goes to Santa Clara.

  6. Everybody (other than USC it seems) is beefing up their Non Conference Schedule. Alabama has added Home & Home with Texas, Wisconsin, West Virginia, Notre Dame, Oklahoma and Virginia Tech. UCLA has LSU, Georgia, Auburn, Wisconsin and just finished with Oklahoma. Florida is now leaving the state to travel. Oregon has Ohio State next year. Plenty others doing the same. Reason is that the Playoff will expand to 8 teams with Conf Champs guaranteed, so no risk in doing this. So why is USC about 15 years behind the scheduling curve? Doesn’t help with recruiting. And more to the point, why would a Private School help generate revenue for State Programs? Let UCLA & Cal handle that. The “Leadership & Vision” in the Athletic Dept has been non-existent. Hopefully Bohn will figure it out.
