  4. My concern is, can Slovis get through the four quarters of football…the Iowa Defense is going to be focused on Slovis because Slovis IS THE OFFENSE!!!

  8. We all know that USC is far superior with talent than Iowa. We also know that Iowa is far superior with solid coaching, physicality, and discipline. That evens out any advantage that Gomer has in player talent. With that being said , expect a close, ugly, undisciplined, and uninspired victory by USC. At least 10 penalties, 10 missed tackles because they don’t practice it and perhaps 3 turnovers. USC 31-28.

  12. Easy 31-17 Iowa win over the soft, poorly prepared, under-coached USC squad. Expect the bad Slovis to make an appearance ala BYU and toss 2-3 INTs.. After the game Iowa fans will wonder where has this offense been all year only to be told that they never had a chance before to go against the worst DC in the country, Pendergast.

  14. USC has given up in only one game this year, Oregon (probably out of disgust with special team screw ups). Iowa hasn’t given up all season. Expect a close game —maybe coming down to the last drive…

  16. I’m just hoping that I’ll see the beginning of next year’s team rather than the ending of this year’s. Sorry there isn’t one more after this one and I’m sorry to see Pitt go, but I hope he goes out with a bang. I think it’s an interesting matchup and I look forward to seeing what the plan is on both sides. I’m in the black with this team and I expect to put some icing on the cake tonight. Fight On!

IN SPITE of Clays culture of failure, the lacking discipline, the general “meh” attitude all around the program, I think based on our kids talent alone, we end up squeaking out the W, somewhere like 24-13. I also just don’t think that Iowa has the offense to match our speed/getting into a shootout. Fight On

  22. I like USC to win just from what I’m hearing from the players. They want to prove themselves worthy of our support. That factor will give us the edge so 35-21 SC

  25. If the field is sloppy and wet? Iowa 23-20…
    If the field is in decent shape? SC 31-17

    But what do I know, or care? Yes, we want the best for the players…they’re young, and that’s who we root for…however, how many of them , with NFL dreams, will discover, when the draft and training camps come, how woefully ill prepared they are thanks to Helton and crew…? It’s been a very long few years with Helton and staff, and now we have Bohn and Holt who are excited to see it continue….happy 2020…

  26. Will Clancy coach his “good” game of the year? (not likely) Will Special Teams make yet another massive mistake? (very likely) Will the pass crazed offense be successful, or will it be another Oregon? Washington? BYU? ND? (Iowa aint UCLA, Az, AzSt, Cal) Will the team be flat and undisciplined? (likely) Will they miss tackles? (absolutely) If SC looses will the coaches blame everybody and especially the fans (absolutely)… if SC wins, I’ll be happy but with more than a hint of sadness that it gives cover to the worst sports decision since the hiring of Helton.
    My head says Iowa 30-21.

  27. The air raid is a fiction. It is an excuse for not playing football. This is stupid coaching. Face it. We are stupid for putting up with this crap. It is a joke, and we fall for it because Helton says it. What have we come to? How low is it possible to sink? The only solution is for the fans to boycott.
