Pac-12 Still Waiting To Announce Tiebreaker

The Conference of Champions has still not announced the tiebreaker formula for its conference championship for this season!

The Pac-12 always moves at its own speed but remember there will not be North and South division champions this season. The top two teams will play in the Pac-12 title game. But what happens if there is a tie?

George Kliavkoff has probably been a little preoccupied with keeping the 10 schools from leaving the conference.

But you would think the tiebreaker formula would be announced by now. As long as it’s announced before the end of the season, I guess.

We will all miss the days of watching a young man grow with our schools. They will hop from school to school the way Dementia Joe flip flops on political issues.

      1. I think she finally realized how foolished she looked trying to claim Biden was the better choice.

It really is hilarious the way Dementia Joe is lying to the country about us not being in a recession. He also lied to us about how tough he was on both MBS and Xi Jinping. He’s an old man who likes to talk tough and millions were dumb enough to fall for it.

His weakness is why Putin and Jinping knew they could do whatever they wanted. Lots of blood is on the hands of Biden voters, as much as they try to deny it.

Every fucking day you have to correlate Biden with something that is indirectly non-relevant. Your fucking stupidity is beyond laughable.

Perhaps a good ass whipping would help you with your cognitive issues.

As for talking about Biden, well, he is the president (at least he occupies the White House), kind of hard not to take about him. Of course, I can see why you want to minimize any discussion about him. I would run away, avoid, distract, misrepresent too if I was foolish enough to have voted for this guy.

        Have a nice day, Grabby.

      1. Hey, slo cal, get educated, dipshit!… Once again, posting alternative facts to promote your false agenda.

The process for declaring the U.S. economy does not fall simply on GDP reports. Rather, the NBER defines a recession as “a significant decline in economic activity that is spread across the economy and that lasts more than a few months.”

And as Bank of America’s team notes, this criteria specifically draws from six primary data sources that cover a more diverse set of economic indicators beyond the gross domestic product: real personal income less transfers, nonfarm payrolls, real personal consumption expenditures, real manufacturing, and trade sales, household employment, and the index of industrial production.

All of which have grown since the start of the year.

Dude, you’re way too easy to debunk. Low-level skill-set….for sure!

  4. Biden administration officials, from National Economic Council Director Brian Deese, to Council of Economic Advisors member Jared Berstein, to Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, have attempted to throw wool over the eyes of the American people by explaining that this traditional definition of a recession is faulty. Powell echoed the party line after announcing his latest interest rate hike: “I do not think the U.S. is currently in a recession. It doesn’t make sense that the U.S. would be in a recession.”

So, basically, because Powell does not personally believe the numbers right before his eyes, the U.S. central bank has continued down the path of dropping napalm on economic production. I am reminded of George Orwell’s 1984, “The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.”

Powell and the Biden administration have pointed to the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) as the final arbiter of whether the economy is in a recession; the NBER defines a recession as “a significant decline in economic activity that is spread across the economy and lasts more than a few months.” The NBER measures this sustained economic decline with four primary indicators: real income, real spending, industrial production, and employment. Each of these indicators ostensibly remains in healthy territory.

Though the unemployment rate remains robust – which has been indicated by Powell, Yellen, and others to be a reason a recession cannot be possible – the U.S. labor market is far from healthy. The unemployment rate does not include the vast number of individuals who have voluntarily left the labor force since before the pandemic. The labor force participation rate sits at 62.2 percent, compared to 63.4 percent in February 2020, and 11.3 million jobs remain open compared to 6.9 million pre-pandemic.

75% OF THE COUNTRY KNOWS WE’RE IN A RECESSION. BUT DUMBASS WANTS TO BELIEVE THE LIES & SPIN BY THIS ADMINISTRATION. CUZ HE’S A LOW IQ INDIVIDUAL. HECK, THAT’S NOT NEWS. AFTEALL, HE DID VOTE FOR ALL OF THIS. LOL

The senile troll seems to forget trump begged the Feds to lower the rate to historic lows. The cheap money triggered a buying frenzy which started to put pressure on inflation. Trump used socialism to save capitalism which back-fired(more corporate stock buy-backs)… which only led to more continued pressure on inflation…

Trump had this country so fucked up during the dark days of covid, Biden had no other choice but to infuse cash into the economy to relieve financial burdens on millions of Americans, due in part to trump’s incompetence….trump really did leave this country in a fucking mess…. but the senile troll has selective memory, and wants to blame Biden for trump’s failures….PATHETIC!

      1. Please ignore the 5 trillion dollars given out during COVID. It has no bearing on inflation. It’s the low interest money that is the issue, not the free money that’s the problem, right?

Here’s your trial run at full blown socialism. How’s it working out?

Trump is a mouth breathing moron, he too gave out free money. But Biden doubled down. If neither did anything at all, nothing, zero, other than funding the research testing and direct Covid related expenses we would be a lot better off. But instead they went the route of politicians and fed free money to a problem that didn’t require it. Anyone with half a brain knew we were headed for huge inflation.

If there is a problem, government is never the answer.

      2. I agree with your comments!. The point I was making, the rise in inflation actually had its roots pre-pandemic, and this tidal wave, covid, fueled it like a wildfire. And yes, Biden’s momentary policies helped fuel the rise. But was no action the true cure?

This senile troll, slo cal. seems to think inflation just started to take off the first day Biden took office. He refuses to lay any blame on trump for his actions or lack of.

      3. I will always favor smart people and free markets to figure out problems over government. So, in my opinion, yes, I would rather the government did nothing. Neither side is pragmatic or objective, they huddle up and make things worse.

We need a huge culture change in politics, but I do not think that’s coming in my lifetime. People, my hand raised, are stubborn and like to win. Politics shouldn’t be played out like sports. Winning is not more important that getting things done. A two party system only breeds a “my side” type of thought. It needs to be dismantled. More parties might make for more gridlock, but gridlock is good.

And the inflation we’re experiencing is primarily the result of the horrible economic policies of our current administration. That’s why she cries so loud. She hates being reminded of how dumb she was to vote for all of it.

  7. Both Trump and Biden dumped a lot of $$ into the economy, and that is the proximate cause of the inflation we are seeing now. Federal debt to GDP ratio now over 100%, we haven’t seen that since WW2; this will get much worse with more people retiring and taking social security and Medicare. These programs will have to be modified, or taxes will have to go up, or both.

GDP is declining while employment has been rising substantially. This is a one-off, as the only way this can happen is with worker productivity plummeting. This is a huge problem because all of the increase in our living standards over the long-run is due to higher worker productivity – but productivity is falling today at an unprecedented rate – nearly 8 percent per year.

George, hang in there, I am hopeful politics in this country will get better.

      1. Yes, that would bring in additional revenue, but not enough to balance it. The demographic shift between those receiving and those paying is huge. Back in the day there were 3.5 workers per retiree. Down the road, there will be only about 2 workers per retiree.

Sadly, very few decent people IMHO are willing to go into politics now. The definition of a politician has changed. Back in the day, a politician made things happen. Reagan and Tip O’Neil did deals. Clinton and Gingrich did deals. A politician was evaluated on what they accomplished, historically. Now it seems to be a badge of honor that they don’t work with the other side to advance the ball.

Dems went off the rails after the 2000 election and Florida. Since then, there has been constant, awful conflict on both sides. We need a person from between the 40 yard lines, and I hope that will happen.
