In 1952, you could get your “Trojan Jacket” or letterman’s jacket for Easter Vacation at the Trojan Shop. The shop no longer exists, obviously, and was across the street from the Target in the USC Village.

Close, I was 9 as of 8/8/52 and that fall is when we were walking around campus before the BIG game…Dad always liked to walk us past the dental bldg where he learned his trade.

Went to my first Rose Parade New Years Day of 1952. Saw Roy Rogers ride Trigger down Colorado Boulevard.

It doesn’t matter when your in a divorce, you just want out as fast as possible. Even taking the trash-er, bringing little brother with us to a real conference is all we’re looking forward to. Getting ready for the B1G is more important than leaving this conference with bragging rights.
