Colorado coach Deion Sanders has brought a lot of attention to the Buffaloes.
But his health has become an issue recently and he underwent emergency surgery Friday for blood clots.
Some of the stories have been scary as there were reports Sanders might need his foot amputated. He underwent nine surgeries in 2021 and had two toes amputated.
Sanders addressed some of his issues on social media.
“I went to the doctors the other day to check myself out and I have two clots in my legs: one in my right leg, one in my left leg, which is my thighs. Now I’m having a procedure tomorrow (Friday) to try to get those clots so now I can have proper blood flow to the leg so they can fix the toes. That’s what’s going on. That is it.”
a bunch of top recruits might announce this week, after the final visit weekends at ohio state, alabama and georgia. those three programs got the last pitch to alot of competitive battles. usc is still a step down from those programs.

I don’t know – had USC won out they’d be in that top tier right as is OH St, right? No? They lost to UT both @ UT and the Pac12 CCG game in the very first year of a new head coach Lincoln Riley. AL’s looking for a quality qb and Ryan Day is still reeling from consecutive losses to MI. Amazing you made no mention of Jim Harbaugh and MI.
Smart appears the best right now and Riley is right there too.

I hope everything works out for him. I really do. But what I would really like to know is did he get a booster shot. I don’t know how many people I have known who got a booster shot and then started to have problems with blood clots and even some that ended up having strokes.

With all his money Sanders still has serious health issues. Some things money just cannot buy and often it is good health that is not for sale
