Colorado Plays USC In A Month!

There will be a lot of college coaches disappointed today because they wanted to see Deion Sanders lose to TCU. Instead, the Buffs won, 45-42.

USC superfan Colin Cowherd picked TCU, 40-17.

Shedeur Sanders passed for 510 yards.

But Travis Hunter made the play of the day.

  • Maybe Fresno State should be moving to the Big Ten. The Bulldogs beat Purdue, 39-35, and did it with a goal-line stand.

Guess who returned to SC yesterday after a 3 year exile for Admissionsgate yesterday? The Bohn Head Days are officially over now.

  1. Just looked it up —According to Phil Steele, TCU was supposed to have the best linebackers and d-backs in the Big 12 this year…..

    1. Professional “FB” magazine pundits like Steele t’ain’t flawless. For me, Steele is just 1 or 2 rungs higher than the absolute bottom, three (3) Stooge, bozo, Hollywood towel wavers, rung.

  2. imagine if he threw for 510 yards against a team that played in the title game a year ago what he will do to grinch soon. I look forward to the massacre so that we can move on from grinch quickly. Grinch is not going to make it out of the season with all the high powered offenses he is playing. That is a ton of pressure on the offense to always dig the defense out a hole.

    1. How quickly you forget! We’re talking about the Grinch that held Utah to 43 & 47 points…and UCLA to 45….and Tulane to 46…..

  3. So much for that one football pundant who said that Colorado would only win one game this year. I have a feeling that Stanford is going to be better than they predicted.

  4. Utah, that is funny. Colorado lacks depth. Washington looks for real and Oregon is still poorly coached. Stanford is too fragile. 13 point win over Hawaii? You guys worry too much. Let’s give this staff the benefit of the doubt, for now.

  5. Are you serious?? TCU absolutely SUCKS. They are horrible on both sides of the ball. Colorado is just a little better than TCU, that is due to the few good players they have. Colorado may go .500 this season. Are people really worried about USC beating the Buffs?

      1. MG, SUCC lost an O/L in the second (2nd) qtr. It looked like he suffered really ugly knee damage. Crap, losing a valuable, starting O/L in a cupcake FB game is just inexcusable.

  6. Fresno has a few weak areas, but the run and passing game are looking pretty solid. The new Qb is in my point of view very good. Not as good as they had last year, but still very good.

  7. Well the PAC 12 will be giving us a great going away party. A lot of good teams. Alex Grinch I don’t think you’re ready for this. I wish you were. Just watch Colorado look like a team that’s been together for years. USC defense look like they met each other the day before the game.

  8. This has to be the most positive post I’ve ever read from Scott! I could see(imagine) a huge grin on his face as he sat on his basement couch writing.
I wonder if a Pac 12 coach will say Colorado is in better position to win a natty than USC on this Wednesdays upcoming post.

  9. TCU’s previous game, prior to playing Colorado they lost 65-7. Since that game they lost their OC, Heisman finalist QB and had more players drafted in NFL outside of Georgia & Alabama!! Let’s pump the brakes on how good they are this year. BUT, it is still impressive as hell what Deion & Colorado pulled off today.

  10. Grinch, you have Jacobe Covington. Get him out of the doghouse and out on the near boundary to play man to man. In position, but no bump at the line of scrimmage? Well, sir, you elbow the crap out of the WR and make him go out of bounds.

  11. THIS YEAR THE PAC 12 IS FULL UP WITH GOOD,BETTER AND BEST TEAMS…ITS DEMISE WAS GREED AND THEFT BY MANAGEMENT…and stupid college ceo’s….too bad’cause it was SC’s under hellton and the SC board/AD/college prez that began the tumble, allowing the premiere athletic program to deteriorate…fubar is a terrible thing to watch.

  12. Colorado played great…but no one (TCU) didn’t know what Colorado looked like as that time was totally thrown together. The more film other teams will see the less Colorado will look like a world beater. Give CO credit for sneaking up on TCU as I’m sure TCU totally took them for granted.
