USC safety Calen Bullock announced on Instagram he would declare for the NFL Draft.
Bullock had 61 tackles and 2 interceptions. He was first team All-Pac-12, and the USC coaches knew he was turning pro as they added Oregon State safety Akili Arnold and UCLA safety Kamari Ramsey, who look like the starting safeties next season.

I call BS.
Riley’s weaknesses were exposed this year. Very true. But he can hire a great defensive staff (which he has done) and put together a really solid defense this year. Will it be nattie level? of course not. They need a few years of better recruiting and multiple years of player development. But it will be highly competitive.
On offense USC was still ranked #4 in points per game. Some people will say that USC had a soft first half schedule, yes, but the second half schedule was brutal. Georgia had a cakewalk schedule and ended up #9 in points per game. But it is true that USC’s offense was exposed this year. The o-line was pretty bad. The receivers were not as stellar as advertised. So Josh Henson needs to actually build a good o-line and there need to be changes in why receivers are not being utilized properly. There might even be problems with the schematics/routes. USC receivers couldnt get open (or Caleb wouldnt throw to them) until he had scrambled around the pocket for 10 seconds.
I personally think that Caleb was a net negative for the team. That’s right, negative. Caleb wouldnt play inside the system, wouldnt release the ball quickly, was afraid to take off and run when he should have, and was a very up and down leader. I dont think he worked hard to build a chemistry with some receivers that could have been much better weapons (Singer). I also wonder if part of the reason the o-line was bad is that they felt like they had to block for so long because Caleb kept scrambling around. That might be tough on the mentality of the o-line.
Was this year a disaster? Yes. That doesnt mean Riley cant/wont solve the issues. He is taking many right steps. Only time will tell if he truly looked into his own performance and made ALL the changes needed.

I don’t think Bullock will be drafted. He has decent coverage skills but not the physicality of an NFL safety. He should have played cornerback last year.
Caleb Williams will probably be the only USC player drafted. Bullock and Lloyd have an outside chance. Max Williams? C’mon.

Your viewers remember when Special Counsel Bob Mueller struggled and stumbled to find an answer and ultimately couldn’t answer why he applied a different standard to Donald Trump than anyone else ever prosecuted or under investigation by the Department of Justice, meaning that Donald Trump had to conclusively prove his innocence rather than have a presumption of innocence as our bedrock standard.
Bob Mueller lost all credibility and he and his report drifted away. And I would submit that this is the Bob Mueller moment for Jack Smith because everyone remembers, Maria, that he stood before the American people when he indicted Donald Trump. And he said, we have one set of laws and they apply equally to everyone. Donald Trump will be treated the same as every other defendant. But when Donald Trump’s legal team came forward with a legal defense of presidential immunity that threatened a trial date taking place before the political election in 2020, Jack Smith did a 180 and he went to the Supreme Court and said, forget everything I told you. Now. Donald Trump is completely different.
This is extraordinary. We have to have an expedited review. You have to look at this immediately. And I think the Supreme Court, the way they rejected this unanimously with one sentence saying petition denied, I think reflects that they saw this for what we all saw, which is that the very same Justice Department that, you know, took six years to consider charges against a guy named Biden saying this was plenty fast. But when it comes to a guy named Trump, for some reason, we have to have this trial take place before the election.
Keep in mind, Maria, keep in mind that the speedy trial provisions of the 6th amendment are the defendants right, not the government’s. I think that this was nakedly partisan and overtly political, and it was revealed, told to the Supreme Court. That’s how Jack Smith is operating.

The safety position is getting a bit deeper in talent. Branch and Pierce are young guys able to compete to start if they are healthy. Ramsey definitely going to play. Arnold needs to compete to start.
And is Jaylin Smith a safety or nickel? because he had a good year and this would be his year to breakout.

With all the Democrats out there, I have wondered, why Biden? Why did the DNC decide that Biden was the guy they wanted to push to the Presidency?
The real answer is that he is the most corrupt person in the DNC, outside of crooked Hillary. Being crooked is an important part of Biden, because it ensures that he will never try to do anything that goes against the interests of the truly wealthy donor class. The Democratic party has some people, like Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders or RFK jr, that are dangerous to the interests of the wealthy and the uniparty power elite, because they generally are not crooked. Even if you disagree with their policies, they generally have principles that go before their self interest. Not Biden. He believes 100% that Washington DC is where you go to leverage power to create wealth and power for yourself and your family.
Nikki Haley is the Republican version of Biden, crooked to the core, and that is why she is getting pushed by the news media and uniparty as yet another attempt to keep Trump out of the oval office. Hope your right Eric. But I did not see much improvement from Bullock from his freshman to junior years and the defense absolutely collapsed the last two years. Hard to draft a safety on a team that couldn’t stop runs up the middle or intermediate passes up the middle or deep passes anywhere.
