We could have quite a collection of egos in the South Bay soon.
Jim Harbaugh is coaching the Chargers. Lincoln Riley is coaching USC. If Pete Carroll doesn’t get an NFL job, he could move back. And for good measure, Lane Kiffin comes back to visit his family.
I would throw Rams coach Sean McVay in there, but he’s tucked away in Hidden Hills.
Harbaugh and Carroll can compare notes on exiting a marquee college program under NCAA investigation, if they can stomach each other. Maybe time has healed the old wounds. Carroll is great at patching things up, even if he on the inside he hasn’t changed his feelings about someone.
At least Carroll and Harbaugh sit at the Big Boy table together. Riley is still a dilettante from their view. Doesn’t run the ball. Doesn’t know defense. Hasn’t played for a national title. Hasn’t coached in the NFL.
When Carroll was feuding with Harbaugh and Rick Neuheisel near the end of his USC tenure, I asked him if he lumped them together or viewed them differently.
“Harbaugh’s a real coach, you have to respect him,” Carroll said. “That’s the difference. He actually knows what he is doing.”
As Neuheisel, well, let’s just say he didn’t have anything positive to say.
New-weaasel being a bruin may have had something to do with Carrot’s opinion of him

Pete showed what he thought of Neuheisel:

The look on Rick Neuheisel’s face is the look we wanna see on Bryan Kelly’s face in our opener against LSU [it’s the look you see when you score a cheap TD in the final seconds of a game you’ve already won]….

It makes me happy to see the UCLA assistant coaches all butt-hurt, saying bad words on the sidelines…

Carrot was actually talking to our Wolf late in his SC career?
And I doubt Carrot and Hardblow spend any time thinking about Wiley
If “ego” translates to self-confidence a coach better have it

Pete never met a reporter he wouldn’t want to talk to.

Wolf is desperate for content. He needs his clickbait to generate revenue.
According to a few blog members, Scott’s words are gospel.

Thank you for pointing that out, Gabby…

Misread that, of course it was mutual

wow!… Hey, wolfman(bark at the room) your rant is full of pure dick-ism. You need to accept the fact you’re a loser and the guys mentioned are winners.
Wait for it, all the fanboys will offer up a rebuttal in your defense…. Pathetic!

Scooter,
In reference to Neweasel, the only thing he did correct was go to SC’s law school. His son, Jerry went to Loyola High, but then went to the dark side. Another weasal.

Whatever shall we do?! What is coming up later this year of any significance that we could kick around? Gee, I can’t think of anything. 😉

Scott is lazy and does very little work to post objective content. Instead, it’s one negative comment after another. The work of a gossip columnist
