USC Morning Buzz: The Problems Are Clear; Now Solve Them

A lot of chickens have come home to roost since August.

For example, I said the USC secondary was a big problem entering the season. It was a big problem.

I said the offensive line was going to be a weakness. It was a glaring weakness.

I’ve railed about Andy Enfield for years. Who’s defending him today? USC was picked to finish second. It is currently in 11th place.

And here is the thing: A lot of people who will say today the problems for football are solved now were likely saying in August these problems didn’t exist.

Which, if any, of these problems will be completely solved next year?

  • Caleb Williams will not throw at the NFL Combine and wait until USC’s Pro Day to work out his arm. That ensures the USC Pro Day will be a real circus and probably the most-anticipated since the Reggie Bush–Matt Leinart Pro Day.

    1. Oh yeah, if Biden’s DOJ arrested him, he MUST BE guilty. They should have just ignored the FBI’s assessment of how credible & how valuable a witness he was.

      It’s not as if his testimony lined up with the 20 LLCs, multiple wires from those LLCs to various Biden family members, their inability to state what services were provided for those monies and one of the most telling pieces of evidence….Hunter texting his own sister about having to “give half his income to pop”. Let’s also not forget National Archives retaining thousands of emails in which Biden used a pseudonym in an effort to hide his identity, as he was corresponding about Hunter’s “business” dealings. There is NO REASON for them to have saved those emails other than knowing they were, in fact, Joe Biden’s.

      5. As several have said, they’re all corrupt. It’s just a matter of to what extent and have they been compromised enough to put us in more danger than we would have been otherwise. We’ll never get all of the answers. Heck, we’ll be lucky to get even a small fraction of them.

        Mueller’s answers in his 2019 Congressional Testimony were halting, when not evasive, and he repeatedly had to ask that a question be repeated. Long before his appearance before the Judiciary and Intelligence committees, there had been rumors that he was senile.

        That would explain his reluctance to discuss his decision to hire a host of hyper-partisan Democrats, such as the ethically compromised Andrew Weissman, to do the footwork on the case and with his failure to investigate the origins of the Fusion GPS report and to consider the possibility that the Russians made clever use of the Hitlery Clinton campaign.

        This would explain why, though by then they knew that he was innocent, the Special Prosecutor Mueller and his team did not exonerate Donald Trump of collusion with the Russians prior to the 2018 midterms.

        It would also explain the absence of any curiosity concerning Christopher Steele and the Fusion GPS report.

        And, of course, it would explain all the malarkey about obstruction of justice.

        Only liars and full mooners like you even dare mention Mueller’s name after that disgraceful, embarrassing, pitiful performance.

  5. Unfortunately USC football will not be any better than last season, especially since their Savior Caleb Williams is gone. Lincoln Riley doesn’t understand physical football which is why he doesn’t coach it. The Big Ten is not the weak PAC 12 where nobody played defense. Riley has not yet recruited a top 10 high school class going into his third year and it will be glaring next season.
