The Dangers Of Putting Together A List

I don’t know who this is but I really wonder how anyone puts together a list of “hardest hitting players” and puts Taylor Mays ahead of Ronnie Lott?

Did they ever watch highlights of Lott playing? It’s a stunning faux paus, frankly. Lott is one of the greatest safeties in history and was known for his hitting.

And while we’re at it, what about Rey Maualuga?

  • I asked Friday how many times will we see Cheryl Miller hanging around the USC women’s basketball team during March Madness?

Well, she was at the USC watch party Sunday for the NCAA Tournament brackets. One down. Many more to go.

  • Shannon Sharpe was really original in his Final Four predictions.

  1. For someone who always harps on how the University doesn’t honor past athletes, or invite them back, it begs the question as to why you feel Miller needs to stay the F back.

  2. Scooter,

Where is Ricky Bells name on the list? he played lber, but as a running back, he delivered hard knocks. Where is Troy Palumalu? Where is Butkus’ name? The dude did not do his homework.

    1. Expressing how grateful we all are for those times when your knocked out from another one of your benders is not “taking the bait”. But go ahead and keep lying to yourself. The entire board knows how good it make you feel. What a lonely, miserable life you lead.

      1. The data shows that ideology, race and gender are all statistically significant predictors of self-reported mental health, with liberals having the worst self-reported mental health compared to moderates and conservatives, and women having worse self-reported mental health than men. What’s more, the interaction between race, ideology, and gender is statistically significant — with liberal white and non-white women having the worst self-reported mental health. This trend has also been reported by Zach Goldberg and Haidt using Pew Research’s data, as well as findings from Gimbrone et al.

Using FIRE’s 2024 Campus Free Speech Rankings data, we’ve seen that 36% of students reported feelings of poor mental health more than half the time. Out of these 15,000 students, 67% were liberal, compared to just 16% moderate and 17.3% conservative. To put it simply, the more students were likely to believe in “social justice fundamentalism”, the more miserable they tended to be.
