USC Morning Buzz: Lincoln Riley Is 12 Months Late

So Lincoln Riley was spending time at Tuesday’s spring practice watching the defense, which was supposedly a big deal.

Wasn’t that what he said he was going to do 12 months ago?

And frankly, USC doesn’t need him to do it now. It got rid of most of the defensive coaches from the previous two years. D’Anton Lynn and Co. don’t need a Mike Leach guy hovering around the defense. Alex Grinch needed it.

If I was Lynn, I’d tell Riley to go fix the offensive line.

  • How about Washington having a big donor event Tuesday in Palm Desert with Jedd the Fisch, then-athletic director Troy Dannen and school president Ana Mari Cauce. Dannen and Cauce flew back from Palm Springs together after Dannen resigned to become athletic director at Nebraska.
  • Do we really need another Ghostbusters’ movie? Apparently we do because Sony Pictures sent the car to the USC Village on Wednesday.

        ‘What we need is a testostorne series comeback. We need Dirty Harry sequels. That would piss off the woke and political crap people and it would show how men are to be. 

        With all of the excitement going on here, and I losing count on how many shots i took but knowing that this is 44 magnum, the most powerful hang gun in the world and it could blow your head clean off, you have to ask yourself a question, how lucky do I feel, well punk, how luck do you feel? 

        The guy reaches for his shotgun while Dirty Harry is aiming right at his head and then the guy stops reaching. Right then and there Dirty Harry pulls the trigger and his gun was empty. The guy was mad at himself but also had relief knowing that Dirty Harry was treating him with respect.

        I always have .357 rounds in mine, but she’s got low recoil .38 (in her .357). Hornady makes a great 90 gr HP round for the ladies that comes with pink writing on the box and a portion of the proceeds goes to breast cancer research.

      19. There is a .10″ difference in length between the two rounds. If you fire enough 38 SPL in 357 Mag, you may get a nasty carbon ring built up in the gap. It does not make it unsafe, but it may make it hard to insert longer 357 Mag rounds later on.

    2. The current cited amount is telling note ‘…at least $4.5 mil…’. Then the damage control by the overpaid lawyers denying what the intepreter Mizuhara said. Assuming he (Mizuhara) is truthful no bets on MLB problem is the bum that led to this discovery Bowden – what happens if he claims (true or false) there were bets on MLB? But what the real mystery is the amount of money Ohtani paid…..who in their right mind does that?

      I do believe Ohtani is a decent sincere guy what a mess.

      Ohtani’s side kick said that Ohtani did not gamble, nor was he aware, and that he did not have anything to do with this. Ohtani is cleared per his side kick. all Ohtani did, out of the gerousity of his heart was pay the gambling debt. He wired two different times. That is all.
