USC Notes: Andy Enfield Ready To Take SMU Offer

Imagine the money SMU must be throwing at Andy Enfield right now.

Enfield makes more than $4.5 million at USC. He’s got several more years on his contract.

Sources at USC said today they expect Enfield to take the job if the offer is right (meaning he gets the money he wants). We can only hope.

  • USC offensive line coach Josh Henson said Tobias Raymond would start at right tackle for the Trojans. Raymond is a redshirt freshman who played in two games last season.

So Raymond and fellow freshman Elijah Page would start at tackle. With Emmanuel Pregnon, Jonah Monheim and Mason Murphy the interior linemen. I’m underwhelmed until proven otherwise, which is always possible. We’ll see.

  • USC assistant coach Beth Burns was fired up Monday night at the Galen Center.

    It’s all about the SC offensive line and we won’t have true answers until September

  6. No state income tax in TX…..Summers are brutal ‘but’ he’s in Dallas….save San Antonio, best major city in TX. ACC member (good luck with that)….minimal travel for recruiting (center of nation). His impact at USC has eroded in 10 years.

    As noted – better for both to part ways and as also noted – we have no real men basketball legacy.
