USC Notes: Another Busy Day On Campus

Carol Folt has been keeping a low profile but she made a statement about Reggie Bush getting his Heisman Trophy back.

“I am so happy for Reggie and the entire Trojan Family. He won our hearts during his illustrious career and deserved to have his well-earned honor restored,” said Folt. “We are looking forward to celebrating with him and his family and are proud we were able to stand with him as an advocate.”

  • Former USC safety Chris Hawkins, who was among the coaches fired by Arizona State for recruiting violations, was given a four-year show-cause penalty that restricts him from recruiting on or off campus at any school that hires him for the next three years according to Chris Karpman of 247. The show-cause order went into effect April 15.
  • USC students set up an encampment this morning at Alumni Park and there have been some clashes with campus security.
  • Two libraries at USC (Doheny, Leavey) are now closed and the Student Union building is on lockdown.

    What a bunch of crap that came out of folt’s mouth when she spoke about Bush. At that time she did not even know about Bush, SC, football, or anything else. She was trying to climb the ladder by kissing someone elese asses.

    The pro palentinian protesters are organized. My question is, why arent there pro Israel protests. They could hire Masad as their body guards. Also, where the the big time Jewish people to speak about this? Where is Speilburg, Streisand, Sadler, and others to speak up for Israel? If they don;t speak up, who will for them?

The people in the photos appear to be l8 to 22 year old students. That is not the case in New York. The ages of people arrested at Columbia are generally 25 and above and don’t appear to be Columbia students. If that is the case, arrest them for trespass and prosecute them. Also, open up an FBI file on them. You know like Garland did on the Virginia parents who asked questions about CRT curriculum at the Virginia school board meeting.

      1. 7 pm The Los Angeles Police Department with Support from the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department is currently conducting a Mass Arrest Operation within the University of Southern California Campus, where Pro-Hamas and Palestinian Demonstrators, most of whom are not Students and are from Out-of-Area, have Established an Encampment with a Promise to Fight Police. The USC Campus has been Closed as a result of the Operation, with Demonstrators being told to Immediately Disperse and Leave the Campus or they will be Arrested.
