The USC-Mississippi football games scheduled for 2025 and 2026 are officially canceled.
This has been known for awhile because the teams’ schedules changed with USC moving to the Big Ten and the SEC adding Texas and Oklahoma.
It probably makes Lincoln Riley happy because he doesn’t like playing good teams.
More importantly, it ruins the much-anticipated Lane Kiffin homecoming with USC, although it remains to be seen if Kiffin actually stays at Mississippi in 2025-26.
It also ruins a chance for USC fans to attend a road game in a great setting that it will probably never get to experience now.

Petp claimed he had a gun but he didn’t figure Gallegos wasn’t a ‘woke demoncrat he/she’….one less ‘released pending arraignment’ perp courtesy of Gascon…Newsom….and Biden.

This homeless guy was bluffing when he said he had a gun and no gun was found. This Gallegos kid is in serious trouble and with a $2-million bond he isn’t going back to SC any time soon

I look at this way, we are back to the Wild West Days where a horse theif was either shot or hung. With Gallegos, he saved the tax payers money and he was just getting rid of a horse thief and protecting his property. Not guilty in my books. With what has happened in Oakland, You would think citizens would be packing heat and taking out the bad guys err horse thieves.

The grove is the best tailgate setting in college football. I was really looking forward to this series when they announced it several years ago. Big loss to people like me that enjoy high quality non conference games.

What was alleged SC murderer Gallegos doing carrying a knife around on the Row, and what happened to the mano-a-mano art of fighting with your knuckles where it is quite difficult to kill a man. If Gallegos didn’t have the knife he’d be still walking around the SC campus today

This addresses that question, John. There’s a few of on this blog who may have taken more than a knife. I’m fine with the mano y mano thing. But many on the streets don’t play by those rules. Look at that actor who was shot & killed a few weeks ago, stumbling upon an attempted catalytic converter theft.

Just saw a publication that had the Trojans at 8-4 for ’24 with losses to LSU, Michigan, Penn St and ND. The article said this SC squad is more well-rounded (it now plays a little defense!) than in years past
