USC Afternoon Notes: Summer Of Unrest

Former USC defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin, the father of Lane Kiffin, died today in Oxford, Miss. He was 84.

  • It seems like the summer has turned into nothing but frustration for part of the USC fanbase. The problem for Lincoln Riley is he has no base of support because no one knows him or has met him. So he has to win for people to back him.

  1. Given all the criticism we’ve been hearing all spring & summer, getting folks to merely call the football program “unserious” is a big step forward in public relations…

Watching the chaos that has consumed the Democratic party the past 2 weeks has been very entertaining. The people who claim to be all about democracy are trying to oust their candidate.

The senile candidate who said Trump wouldn’t relinquish power if re-elected, is refusing to relinquish power!! LMAO!!

You can’t make this stuff up!!

Why would he leave the WH when his duty as Prez lasts until the third week of January……..Once again you had another brain fart and misunderstood the context that was applied

there you have it folks, the dumbest man on the internet….embarrassing!

      2. As if I meant he should step down today! LMAO! (Heck, he should’ve stepped down as soon as he took office. But he had his little insurance policy…Kamala!)

Her stupidity never ends. Lies and stupid excuses coming soon. (Or another lame & childish cut & paste.)

I can’t imagine this freak having any friends or family that come around. Narcissism is some nasty stuff. His entire life revolves around giving us daily Biden updates…….people gave up on this blog because of Slo Cal’s political stupidity……like a true narcissist, he’ll deny any culpability

  3. I wouldn’t have selected Vice President Trump….Bwah-ha-ha-ha-ha!

No wonder the Blog Dunce/Village Idiot/Goober/Cowardly Gabby/Skunk at the Picnic/Perv/Pehdo/etc, etc. cries when she’s reminded how stupid she was for voting for dementia.

    1. BUT YOU TOLD THE BLOG YOU DON’T VOTE IN ELECTIONS……LAUGHING MY A$$ OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

…..SINCE YOU LACK SELF-DIGNITY, I am sure you don’t realize what a fuc-ing idiot you look like.

Why talk $hit 24/7 behind your keyboard, instead of meeting up with Gabby and saying it to his face…….because you’re a hunchback who would get twisted into a pretzel.

Quit putting words in my mouth, I am a supporter of the Democratic party, not Biden. I have said it numerous times I prefer someone other than Biden. With that said, my vote is a vote against trump…. More people in this world hate trump, than those who like him……..WHY IS THAT?….. Never mind, you couldn’t debate yourself out of a paper……MG even called you a half-wit

    2. Again showing what an idiot she is. Just because I don’t vote, doesn’t mean I can’t express an opinion. As I’ve said, if that’s the case, YOU shouldn’t say anything about USC or its sports programs, since YOU have nothing to do with USC.

Don’t go lying AGAIN and claiming I said no one who has never attended USC should comment on their sports. I merely applied YOUR rules about not being able to comment on Dementia Joe because I don’t vote.

Your stupidity is never ending. You’ll just have been shown to be a complete idiot and you claim to be winning. You’ve done it hundreds of times and not just with me.

    3. And quit making excuses! “I didn’t vote for Biden. I voted against Trump.”

You always claim to be such a man! LOL!! A real man takes responsibility for his actions. You thought dementia was the way to go. That’s the bottom line. Quit lying.

      1. my comment was about the upcoming election……dumba$$…..looks like you’re the freak with comprehension issues….laughing my a$$ off..

.I am doing better today than four years ago, so yes, I have no problem having voted for Joe. Especially, when the other option was a guy who had just ruined the lives of millions of people.

Right now, it’s all about keeping the guy out, who told us he would seek retribution and be a dictator. Trump offers no platform to restore your so-called terrible economy or the flawed healthcare system. So what exactly is he promising regarding kitchen table issues….NOTHING!!!!!!

Real man?……..I have called you out 1000x times over the disgusting comments you have made about my family, but you will not confront me to discuss these perverted comments……looks like you’re a coward….not a real man

      2. “Waaaah! He says he’ll be a dictator! Waaah!”

As she ignores the fact that Joe has already done so much more to be considered a dictator than Trump ever did!

My comprehension is fine. Quit projecting.

  4. Trojstev5: All we need is a season that somewhat resembles 2002. If that happens, everything changes. Recruiting goes on a run, donation hit the roof, and we are off. Any chance of this happening? With the new defensive coaches, maybe. Success feeds on success.

    1. Paul Finebaum, Brent Venables, OK athletic director Joe Castiglione, to a lesser drgree UT Kyle Whittingham, OR Dan Lanning – all seem to have degrees of outright or veiled contempt towards Riley.

I see a great season…I sense an 11 – 0 heading into the match up with ‘the princess’ ‘because’ again, it’s win or be vanquished for Riley. He has produced 3 Heisman Trophy winners. Grinch was an awful defensive head coach – gone and good riddance – good luck for him @ WI.

Brian Kelly is in a similar vice so is Freeman (the princess) and DeBoer (AL) is replacing a legend just as Moore (MI) is tasked with. OK’s Venable has toat least match his record ox last year.

It is all coming together because there is no other choice but triumph…..

‘Troy receives…..Troy disposes!’ Victory is thete for the taking…carpe diem!

  5. Funny how the 2024 college football season seemed so far away not too long ago and now here we are on the cusp of another season.

That Old Man Time, irrelevant in our youth, suddenly is quite real or as the Rolling Stones explained when they were in their 30s, “Time time time, is on my side,” but when in their 70s the song changed to “Time waits for no man, and it won’t wait for me”

  6. -And of course no one is more relieved that the football season is almost upon us than the Fearless Wolf who can stop scrapping the bottom for material such as “Should SC’s uniform be a more bold yellow’
