- Paul Finebaum thinks USC should hire Deion Sanders.

Yup that was over on SI Finebaum’s comments about replacing Riley with Sanders.
Riley has 3 Heisman winners….we’ll be good if we’re patient.

I’ll be patient for about the first 5 minutes of the first quarter of the LSU game…… then my patience will run out…….

btw, Colorado is picked to finish 13th or 14th in the Big 12. Sanders’ name will be dogmeat by December 2024. As author Jorge Luis Borgias said of Herbert Quain, Finebaum “seems over-anxious to astonish.”

A great line MG. I’m going to start using it at cocktail parties. Kind of like “he represented everything for which I had unaffected scorn.”

Why are you being so generous? The first drive both on offense and defense will ya how the season will go

Interesting odds …..Phil Steele’s rankings place LSU’s QB as next to last in the SEC….. and LSU’s receivers as dead last….

Oregon has Dhillon Gabriel favored to win the O’Brien award. Plus two receivers ranked ahead of Zachariah Branch. And, they are very good in the trenches. Pushed around USC last year. I think they now have the best roster in college football. But I am confident they will somehow blow it. Just like last year when they twice lost to a Washington team with inferior talent.

I agree per OR esp their head coach Dan Lanning…..this is his 3rd year @ OR as good as he looks defeating NC (2022 Holiday) and Liberty (2024 Fiesta) I’m still waiting to see how OR does this year – look at their schedule – the toughest game they have is OH St on 12th Oct and their toughest road games are @ MI 2nd Nov and perhaps @ WI 16th Nov..
OR opens up at home against ID (31st Aug) and then Boise St. (7th Sept.) in fact they don’t leave the state of Oregon (@ OR St. 14th Sept) until they travel to Pasadena to face Ucla on 28th Sept.
USC and LSU will have been ‘tested’ 6 weeks from last night and both will be better for having that test to start the year.

Brilliant. Your deserve to be the President of the United States and lead the World through this present crisis. But, just to make sure things turn out in your favor, what do you think of Willie Brown?
