I’m not sure it’s news but the goal of the coaching staff is to get defensive tackle Bear Alexander to play consistently. And play hard consistently.
“A great player is somebody who does routine things over and over, and there bad plays aren’t that bad,” Lincoln Riley said Tuesday.
- Defensive standouts so far in training camp: Akili Arnold (safety); Easton Mascarenas-Arnold (linebacker); DeCarlos Nicholson (cornerback); Marcelles Williams (cornerback) and Braylon Conley (cornerback).
Note that none of these players are linemen. To this point, there have been some solid perfomances but nothing superlative so far, which kind of could be predicted before camp.
Defensive end Jamil Muhammad has lived up to his efforts of last season, which is a plus.
- USC women’s soccer midfielder Simi Awujo has skipped her senior season to sign with Manchester United.

The University needs to think about replacing Folt and appointing someone who is aligned with Trump if we want to make USC into its first of a kind MAGA University. A study of all things MAGA and Donald Trump. I can just see President Trump in the Tommy Trojan outfit.
