USC Notes: It’s Quarterback News Thursday

USC QB coach Luke Huard on when a starting quarterback will be named.

“That’s a decision completely up to the head coach,” Huard said.

Of course Huard is never going to give away anything. He’s grateful to have a job at USC.

But at least we know the QB derby is still a derby. The truth is Jayden Maiava will have to be better than Miller Moss in practices to start, because Moss has paid his dues.

  • USC believes it can still secure the commitment of QB Julian Lewis, according to On3. Who to believe on Lewis anymore?
  • Notre Dame is suspending its men’s swimming program for the 2024-25 academic year after investigations revealed swimmers created an internal sportsbook to gamble on their performances, according to Sports Illustrated.

  1. Other than mop-up duty SC’s ‘Most’ and LSU’s Nussmeier only have last year’s bowl games to their credit, so it’s difficult to accurately handicap this game

  3. Willie Brown’s Bimbo is such a liar- today she praised pathetic Senile Joe and bragged about casting the tie-breaking vote to let the IRS crack down on tipped workers – and the crowd claps like trained seals

  4. Cowardly Gabby and the other authoritarian libs say you can’t criticize the incompetent airhead Willie Brown’s Bimbo because she is black and you can’t criticize the Dictator Senile Biden because he is brain cell challenged!

  5. Why does anyone worry about Juju Lewis. He will end up somewhere, and USC will either have him or another great QB, simply because that is how it works.
