Is it weird that Lincoln Riley allowed reporters to watch Saturday’s scrimmage but did not allow them to report on it?
From USC:
“No reporting on the scrimmage is permitted during or after the practice— this event is strictly for observation. Should a media member fail to adhere to these rules and regulations, they will be asked to leave the event.”
This allows Riley to claim he is not anti-media while also comforting his natural paranoia. Do you think LSU gains anything by reading that Miller Moss threw two TD passes or Jayden Maiva looked good?
- Former USC sprinter Ashton Allen is a wide receiver at Temple University. Allen was a member of USC’s NCAA championship 4×100 relay team in 2022. He tried to join the USC football team during his four years with the track team but scholarship rules prevented it.
- USC will open its basketball season on Nov. 4 at the Galen Center vs. Tennessee-Chatanooga.
- USC women’s soccer opened its season with a 2-2 draw at New Mexico State. USC held a 2-0 lead before giving up two goals.

Chicago Bears’ fans have already ‘fallen in love’ with ‘Celeb as he pulled off one acrobatic move to avoid the rush and hit a long one to that Oregon rookie; it had the Bears’ fans jumping up and down, congratulating each other frenzy but was topped when ‘Celeb’ ran for ensuing 12-yard touchdown. Since 1985 the long- suffering Chicago fans see a ‘messiah’ here

Reporters that agree not to report. Doesn’t make a lot of sense. But then again we have District Attorneys that don’t prosecute crimes and teachers who would rather stay in lockdown than teach. It a strange world. What’s next. Prostitutes that do not . . .

Lincoln Riley went 7-5 and lost the Notre Dame and UCLA while running closed practices.
Lincoln Riley needs to do the opposite.
