Pete Carroll Returning To USC

Pete Carroll said in a radio interview in Seattle today that he will be teaching a class at USC this semester.

Carroll will probably teach a once-a-week class. At least that means one USC football coach on campus will have a personality.

“I could coach tomorrow. I’m in the best shape of my life. I’m not desiring it though….if this is the end of my coaching, I can live with that,” Carroll told radio station KJR in Seattle.

Translation: I would like to coach but no one is offering.

  1. Is there any question that if Pete Carroll became head coach again USC would be in the top 5 in recruiting and contend for a national championship every year!!

    2. The only reason she’s even their candidate is because she’s the only one who could use the $240M they had sitting in the coffers. She’s as horrible a candidate today as she was a few months ago, when they were worried about her dragging down the ticket. Only differences is, the MSM who able to convince the morons that dementia was the answer have convinced their minions that she is the second coming of Obama. Whatever they’re fed, they believe.

      I just hope that if she wins, they don’t deny being responsible for all of her failures including the bloodshed, the way they’ve done with Dementia Joe. She’s exhibiting the same type of weakness Joe did…hiding from the media, only committing to one debate, etc. The bad guys of the world would take advantage of it the same way they’ve done with Joe.

      Do you think Riley would even allow that to happen? If Carroll got onto the field, Riley’s respect as a head coach would be thrown out due to the kids wanting Carroll as head coach.

  6. I remember John Robinson being on campus in 1992, just waiting in the wings to take over from Larry Smith. I for one hope Pete’s also waiting in the wings. (Or maybe his mere presence will light a fire under Riley.)
