Here’s Who USC Should Go After

USC recruiting is on an upswing, especially with defensive line prospects.

But if USC is smart, it would try to flip cornerback Dijon Lee, a four-star cornerback at Mission Viejo who committed to Alabama. Lee is the best cornerback in Southern California and one of the best in the nation.

He should be a natural target down at Mission Viejo. If I’m USC, I’m trying to get him to decommit up until he signs with Alabama.

He also plays a spot that USC traditionally has trouble recruiting the best players at. So it’s a no-brainer to go after him. Frankly, USC should have done this beforehand.

  1. Some scouts rated Dijon Lee as the best cornerback to come out of Southern California for several years. Would be great to flip him from Bama. We have an opportunity too. Saban left and USC has had a defensive resurgence. I wonder why Lee chose Bama. The bad mouthing of the USC program from Domani Jackson may have influenced him. Jackson and Zabian Brown of Mater Dei both now play for Bama.

  2. The USC Trojans have announced a first-of-its-kind partnership with Cookies, a cannabis and wellness company based out of California, According to Business Wire. No other program has partnered with a cannabis company, which makes this a unique sponsorship deal for the Trojans. On an unsubstantiated but possibly related note, over 800 athletes entered the transfer portal this morning and have contacted USC.

    1. Pigskin: Prophet Brown is a redshirt junior. He doesn’t play much. One start in 4 years. Not sure why you think that nobody could beat him out next year. Time for the defensive coaches to make a “connection” with Lee given that USC now has a defensive staff that is superior to Alabama. Its about development and proven success and USC now has something to sell.

    1. According to a report from Reuters, undecided voters largely shifted to him after the debate.

“Kamala Harris was widely seen as dominating Tuesday’s presidential debate against Republican former president Donald Trump, but a group of undecided voters remained unconvinced that the Democratic vice president was the better candidate,” the news outlet reported

Reuters interviewed ten undecided voters before and after a debate. Six of them shifted toward supporting Trump, three leaned toward Harris, and one remained uncertain. That’s a rather solid outcome for Trump.

“Although the sample size was small, the responses suggested Harris might need to provide more detailed policy proposals to win over voters who have yet to make up their minds,” wrote Reuters.

    1. You like how she lied? The last time Kamala ran for President, she told David Muir that she would use executive orders for gun control. Even Biden was telling her that it wasn’t constitutional. She just laughed at him. Weird how Fake News Propagandist David Muir didn’t seem to remember that encounter.

Never mind, he says he won’t do any more debates.
