The Pac-12 announced the addition of Boise State, San Diego State, Fresno State and Colorado State starting in 2026.
The Pac-12 wants to add at least two more schools. UNLV could be next to join. Schools leaving the Mountain West must pay a $17 million exit fee and $10-12 million more in penalty fees attached to the MWC scheduling alliance.

A kill by Ryla Jones gives No.1 @Pitt_VB set 3 25-16 and the match over No.23 USC. The Panthers remain undefeated in the early season as they start their California road trip with a win. Official stats to come. @IESportsRadio @YinzerReport_IE pic.twitter.com/YLp9aeMMuJ
They’ll get more from the MWC

No way can Hawaii afford 17 million, same for New Mexico. If Air Force leaves do they just bill us ? Can’t see Nevada or SJSU coming up with 17 million.
The MWC is toast.

Scooter,
The Pitt head coach is from Goleta. Get him back here and rebuild the women’s team.

Viewers in the largest PAC-12 media market – Los Angeles – probably are not interested in tuning into a San Diego State / Boise State game. So if the rejects who failed at the PAC-12 network couldn’t market USC and UCLA, how is that going to work out? Loyal fans had gobs of trouble watching the PAC-12 games on tv. At this point the expectations are so low and they will probably not meet them

If these fools survive the wilderness, then USC, UCLA, Stanford and Cal can return to the PAC12 and get an easier access to the playoffs without having to deal with Oregon and Phil Knight. 2027 is the year of reckoning.

Maybe the other two they might invite in the future will be to Stanford and Cal to come back.
