USC coach Lincoln Riley said today that defensive end Anthony Lucas underwent a medical procedure and will miss the rest of the season.
Lucas had been dealing with a lower leg injury and seemed to hurt his ankle again in the Penn State game. Braylan Shelby has been playing behind Lucas.
- Linebacker Eric Gentry announced tonight that he is redshirting because of a series of concussions he suffered this season.

The lack of depth is our Achilles Heel. Back in the days of McKay, Robinson and later Pete Carroll, SC was 3 deep at every position and if a player went down the next one up filled the gap.
