USC Needs To Be Aggressive In Transfer Portal

The transfer portal has barely opened and it’s clear USC will need to be aggressive.

It needs a quarterback, offensive linemen, defensive linemen, linebackers and defensive backs.

Maybe not a lot of players at all those positions but it needs help. The entire starting secondary will depart if Kamari Ramsey enters the NFL Draft. There are younger players on the roster to step up but there need to be some impact transfers who can step in and transform certain positions.

  • It’s a sign of USC’s season that punter Eddie Czaplicki was the only first-team member of the Big Ten All-Conference team.

Here are the USC picks:

First Team: Eddie Czaplicki, punter.

Second Team: Emmanuel Pregnon, offensive guard, Woody Marks, running back.

Third Team: Jaylin Smith, defensive back. Jonah Monheim, center; Makai Lemon, kick returner; Hank Pepper, long snapper

Honorable mention: DL Gavin Meyer, OL Elijah Paige, TE Lake McRee, LB Easton Mascarenas-Arnold, DB Kamari Ramsey, LB Mason Cobb.

    1. Speaking of stupid, former USC star WR and current Minnesota Vikings WR Jordan Addison pleaded not guilty on Tuesday to two misdemeanor DUI charges stemming from a July arrest near Los Angeles International Airport where he was found asleep in his white Rolls Royce blocking a lane of the I-105… millionaires should always have someone driving them!
