Lincoln Riley Shoots Down UCF Link

Lincoln Riley responded to the Athletic report that Central Florida made an inquiry to see if he was interested in the job.

He called it a “non-starter.”

“I’m a Trojan,” Riley said. “I’m home.”

A Trojan? It’s 50-50 he even knows how to find Tommy Trojan on campus.

A Trojan doesn’t want to end the Notre Dame series.

He is not a Trojan.

He is home all right, stealing $10 million a year.

  3. The fact that an A.D. at a lower level power four school would even entertain the though of reaching out to CLR is very telling. There’s gotta be rumors that he is on thin ice here at USC. If CLR wants to be known as a Trojan then it is time for him to put or shut up and embrace the USC traditions instead of shunning them they way he, and a majority of the administration and athletic department staffer have over the last fifteen years.

  9. So, good news that “I’m not going anywhere” means he’s gone at the next legit offer… but is only getting offered by non-legit jv schools, so, bad news…
