USC Morning Buzz: Focus Remains On You Know Who

Whenever a transfer picks a different school than USC, a segment of fans say the player went for the money.

UCLA currently has nine transfers. No one thinks they have a “big bag” for transfers.

It should be a bigger indictment of Lincoln Riley that he finished only a game better than UCLA.

  • Punter Sam Johnson of Valparaiso has committed to USC. He averaged 47 yards a punt.
  • Justin Wilcox just went 6-7 at Cal despite all that hype and promise early in the season including when College Gameday visited the campus. He has had two winning seasons in eight years at Cal.

ATTENDANCE WATCH

The announced attendance for the LA Bowl was 24,420. The announced attendance for the USC-Cal State Northridge basketball game was 4,039.

    Riley can’t get top talent, even in the portal, but he’ll have a job for a few more years.

    Can’t wait for 2026, SC might go 3-8

  8. SC starts 2025 off with games against Missouri St, Georgia Southern, Purdue and Michigan St at home. Looks as if they can go 4-0 to start the season

    Then it is at Illinois probable loss, Michigan at home probable win, at ND probable loss, at Nebraska probable win, Northwestern at home probable win, Iowa st home probable win, SC at Oregon probable loss, ucla probable win

    So that is a possible 9-3
