USC Sunday Buzz: Do Money Matters Make Sense?

One story regarding USC offensive lineman Emmanuel Pregnon is that he entered the portal after learning he was not being paid more than some other linemen on the team.

Why wouldn’t he be the highest-paid or tied for the highest-paid offensive lineman? Other than left tackle Elijah Paige, who else is getting paid an amount worth discussing?

Would it surprise me if Sir Lincoln of Riley wasn’t paying Pregnon the most? Nope.

  • It was an odd atmosphere at the Galen Center last night. A decent crowd of 7,075 turned out but 50 percent were Michigan fans. The student section was deserted because of winter break.

Eric Musselman finally got a crowd, even if it came with a big assist from the Wolverine fans.

Remember, Michigan had 6,000 fans at the Galen Center a year ago for the pre-Rose Bowl rally before playing Alabama.

  1. KAM: You hold in your hands a lot of America’s future

DON: I like Abe Lincoln’s explanation– “With high hopes for the future, no prediction is ventured”

KAM: Still, you got to be interested in the future because we are going to spend the rest of our lives there

DON: But scientist Einstein said, “I never think of the future. It comes soon enough”

      1. But the morons who voted for Biden-Harris like to pretend everything would have happened the exact same way if Dementia Joe & Kackles hadn’t been installed in 2021. They don’t “have any blood on this hands”, according to the Blog Dunce/Village Idiot/Peh-do/Feces Lover/Skunk at the Picnic/Cowardly Gabby, etc. A shame they never take responsibility for their decisions. Elections have consequences, as the last 4 years have shown the ENTIRE WORLD.

  2. how queeer that Income Inequality at MAGA-laden Southern Cal is tearing the football team apart!

with his Saban-money, Sir Lincoln of Riley appears insulated from the monetary concerns of his lowly indentured servants!

    1. Billionaires are always dreaming about influencing things, so now we have a billionaire that loves BYU so much that he paid the No.1 high school basketball player $7-million

    2. Smith also owns the Utah hockey club and he charges $70 to see the games on his streaming service, same with the Jazz.

To my knowledge, he’s the only owner charging to see the games. It costs $70 for me to get the ALL THE NHL games, talk about a rip off.

  4. Hey Conservatives, get your tampon-bleeding out of your system by Jan. 20th. No more excuses from you clowns.

Liberals/Progressives/Sanctimonious, once again, you won and lost at the same time. Thanks for nothing.

The rest of us? Pregnon has every right to get as much as he can. It only took Wolf a week to get the real reason which was reported by others two days later. Funny thing is, he’s replaceable. But now Lincoln has a built in excuse for why he can’t mangage his side of the ball.
