USC Morning Buzz: Muss Bus Rolls Past Opposing Coaches

The Muss Bus seems to be rolling right past opposing coaches in the handshake line at basketball games.

USC coach Eric Musselman did not shake Michigan coach Dusty May’s hand after losing Sunday at the Galen Center or Indiana coach Mike Woodson after losing last night. Both times, it appeared Musselman was upset with the referees, which caused him to ignore shaking hands.

“I got no comment on that guy,” Musselman said after the game.

The Indiana media initially reported that was what Musselman said about Woodson and Woodson seemed surprise when Musselman blew past him.

However, later it was reported Musselman was referring to a referee. He was upset with the refs both games apparently.

When Musselman ignored May, he was definitely upset the ref called a meaningless foul in the closing seconds of the Michigan game.

This is the volatile Musselman I’ve been waiting for.

  2. What a freaking loser! Setting a great example not only for our players, but any kid who is into any kind of sports or even academic competition. You always congratulate your opponent, ESPECIALLY in defeat.

Now if that coach clearly instructed one of his players to physically harm one of yours, that might be an exception. But barring something such as that, just showing what a poor sport he is. No class.
