I never thought USC would have to promote that it is actually recruiting in California.

      2. Hard to say. Kelly’s play calling yesterday wasn’t so extraordinary. OSU may have been able to win the natty with a bunch of other O-coordinators.

      4. Gabby, I agree with you. USC finished 81st, which is unacceptable, though it was an improvement upon 2023’s 121st defense. Penn State was interested in hiring Lynn, so others seem to have a high regard for him. The D seemed to have little depth last season, particularly after losing Bear and Gentry. Next year will be telling for him and the defense.

      6. Lynn did take UCLA from something like 80th in 2022 in total defense to 14th in total defense in 2023. I suspect we will learn more about him next season when he has more of his own guys and Gentry is back.

  4. Many of the Mater Dei 5 stars of recent years have not worked out for USC. JT Daniels, Bru McCoy, Raleek Brown, Raeshon Davis and CJ Williams. Amon Ra Saint Brown is the exception.
