USC Morning Buzz: NIL Fully Funded?

Jen Cohen said in her State of Troy newsletter addressed NIL and said that USC will “invest the full permissible $20.5 million in 2025-26.”

“We must prioritize more strategically and operate more efficiently than ever before. Maximizing our investment in USC Football – whose success generates the revenue that supports broad-based excellence in all our sports – is critical.”

So what will the excuses be if that is the case?

Every time a player commits elsewhere, the homers claim the player went for the bag. So now USC will be able to match its rivals like Oregon and Notre Dame?

USC actually raised more than $15 million last year, per sources. So we’ll see how much difference the extra money makes.
