Sunday Buzz: Does USC Need QB? No!

USC is not pursuing quarterback Nico Iamaleava. Thankfully.

It’s true quarterbacks are always moving around today. But this guy feels like someone who is never going to be happy no matter how much he gets paid. That can affect team chemistry when you pay someone $4 million a year and he still is going to have issues.

Not to mention he threw 19 touchdown passes last season and 11 came vs Chattanooga, UTEP and Vanderbilt.

It will be interesting to see which program ignores the sideshow and takes Iamaleava.

  • Youngstown State transfer Gabe Dynes, a 7-foot-3 center, has committed to USC. If you told me a year ago USC would have transfers from Youngstown State, Samford and Robert Morris in Year 2, I would have laughed.
  • Jazzy Davidson scored 17 points and looked great at the Nike Hoop Summit. I cannot express how refreshing it is to see a future star player who can score and WANTS to pass the ball to the open player. Does JuJu Watkins do that?

  1. KAM: SENILE JOE BIDEN ADMIN DELIBERATELY FLEW IN ILLEGALS AND GAVE THEM ACCESS TO VOTE . This was not a loophole. Mayorkas created a scheme to fly illegal aliens in, escort them across the border, give them parole, work permits, Social Security numbers—and access to the voting booth.

    DON: This was an attack on democracy. And California refusing to hand over illegal alien criminals to ICE is criminal in itself. The Sheriff of Santa Barbara needs to be prosecuted.

  2. KAM: Senile Joe Biden deliberately imported 20-30 Million illegal aliens in 4 years. Democrats believe each illegal alien should get a lengthy federal trial before being sent back..after we scour the country to find them for month because they are all evading arrest. A typical trial would take months to complete…. not counting appeals.

    DON: This would mean that even if we shut down our entire federal court system to do nothing else, the process that the Democrat federal judges demand would take multiple centuries to complete. “Will Roberts allow this shamamockery?” is the question. If he does, the country is over.

    1. Guys! Guys! The dems aren’t the least bit worried about illegals not being able to vote if they’re deported —the dems have completely given up on the majoritarian political process. They don’t expect to win elections. You can tell from their goofy rhetoric and from the looney positions they’re taking. They are now 100% into shoring up the far, far left —- revolution is their game plan. It’s on their signs, it’s in their speeches…. it’s being urged 24/7 on CNN and MSNBC. And, thanks to Biden, they have at least 2 or 3 million extra crazies ready to carry things out.

      As for Riley’s dedication to team chemistry — Riley left Caleb in the Pac 12 Championship when the team wanted to see Miller save the day [and said as much in post game interviews after the Holiday Bowl victory]. By the time the UCLA game rolled around the team had had it with Caleb running around behind scrimmage while everyone else was trying to figure out how to hold blocks or extend their routes.

      And don’t get me going on the love lost between the defense and Riley’s boyfriend Alex Grinch. I mean, crap, was that good for team chemistry?

      I wouldn’t be surprised if Lincoln was in secret negotiations with Nico’s Team right now…..he just needs some plausible deniability in case things don’t work out. No use alienating Jayden unnecessarily, right?

They forced universities to investigate harassment claims even when a reasonable person would not have found the speech objectionable, thereby weaponizing the sensitivities of the least speech-tolerant students of campus.

    DON: The potential loss of federal funding is exactly what motivated virtually every college and university in the country that ran afoul of the Regime to fall in line and police students and professors in a manner that violated their free speech and due process rights.

  11. KAM: This week we found out that Democrat LA Mayor Karen Bass office has only managed to get four building permits pushed through her city’s sausage making machine. Seventy-two are in the queue. The multimillionaire named to be the sherpa by which all things are rebuilt after the fire, has been allowed to fade into the sunset. 

    “Recovery czar” Steve Soboroff, supposedly Bass’s rebuilding point man, complained as he left his 90-day stint that he may have had responsibility but none of the power to get things done. He was seldom brought into the mayor’s loop on her plans to “help” rebuild. He was, in short, window dressing.

    DON: Better she put Rick Caruso in charge and get out of his way. But the pint sized racist Castro socialist couldn’t bring herself to call in real capitalist expertise. Instead, she brought in her multimillionaire builder and then didn’t give him authority to act. He didn’t fight for it, either. What a complete waste of time and opportunity cost.
